Honey Bear Farm has been owned and operated by Paul and Celeste Fender for 46 years and is home of the HBF horses and numerous others. Our family has been involved in the Paint Horse industry during this time and has been fortunate to have had numerous World & Reserve World Champions, NSBA Champions, Honor Roll Champions, Top 20 All-Around horses, All Around Earners, and Versatility Earners. More

recently, after HBF Iron Man received his AQHA papers in 2005, we have been involved in breeding AQHA and double-registered AQHA/APHA horses. The Fender family is committed to raising quality Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and All Around prospects! Currently, we are on four Lifetime Leading Breeders Lists in APHA: World Champions Earned, Superiors Earned, Superior All Around Earners, and Versatility Earners. Currently, we have been breeding for outstanding Hunter Under Saddle horses. Our most notable accomplishment is our current stallion, HBF Hot Expectations.

Does anyone know why the Premier Sires futurity classes are not on the Horse Show Tracker? I would like to be able to see the placings in each class after they are run. They aren't available on the tracker either by date, venue, or arena.

Our Story

Honey Bear Farm has been owned and operated by Paul and Celeste Fender for 44 years and is home of the HBF horses and numerous others. Their first Paint horse to show was Honey Bear, after whom the farm was named and who became the foundation of their breeding program. Originally, the family was involved in the Paint Horse industry and they successfully raised National and World Champions, Reserve World Champions, NSBA Champions, Honor Roll winners, Top Twenty All-Around horses, Lifetime Leading horses, Youth Versatility Winners, APHA Champions, Superior Award and ROM earners. Their accomplishments also include being the breeders of foundation stallions First In Command (Multiple APHA World Champion and Versatility Sire) and HBF Iron Man (by First In Command), 5X APHA Champion (HUS & WP) and sire of multiple APHA and Pinto World Champions, and Congress Champions (AQHA and Paint).

Most recently, Paul & Celeste have been involved in breeding AQHA and double-registered AQHA/APHA horses and are committed to raising quality Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and All Around prospects! Currently, Celeste is on four APHA Lifetime Leading Breeders Lists: World Champions Earned, Superiors Earned, Superior All Around Earners, and Versatility Earners. In the AQHA arena, Honey Bear Farm has successfully produced a multiple AQHA Congress Top 5 Finalist. Their broodmare band consists of AQHA, Thoroughbred and AQHA/APHA double registered mares. Though now breeding on a limited basis, their mares are bred to some of the finest stallions in AQHA and APHA history.
