Please consider purchasing tickets for the raffle of this beautiful handmade quilt. The 4 Legs 4 Hounds program pays for medical needs for retired racing greyhounds to get them ready for their forever homes.

I know many of you have adopted (or wish to in the future 😊🐾) these wonderful greyhounds. This is a greyt way to show your support for this wonderful organization to continue their mission of caring for these dogs.

Quilt Raffle - Handmade Greyhound Quilt, made and donated by two lovely, generous and talented ladies. Joan Wakeling did all the appliqué sewing as well as sewing the quilt together. Tara Storck did the actual quilting. If you know these ladies please tell them a job well done. 4 Legs 4 Hounds is very lucky to have these ladies donate all the material and time.

The material is cotton. Each of the 12 blocks are made with the variation of the color theme. Size is 41 inches by 54 inches. There is NO sleeve for hanging. I will pay the postage to LOWER 48 STATES ONLY.

Want to support out a great organization?
This group works hard to fundraise for veterinary bills for greyhounds and they need our help!!

I found this picture on the web today and thought I'd share.

I trim my greyhounds nails at home (luckily they are both good at letting me trim or dremel them!).

If your greyhound does not like his/her nails trimmed or you do not feel comfortable doing it please schedule with your vet or a groomer to have them done. When they get too long it's uncomfortable for them and affects their gait.

Once they get too long like the top picture it can take weeks and several trims to get the quicks to recede to get the nail cut back so they are not "clicking" on the floor. It's much easier to keep an eye on them and have them trimmed regularly. We all know how fast greyhound nails grow!!

Meet "Pork Chop"!!

Pork Chop is a loving and affectionate (and very handsome!) 2.5 year old male looking for his forever home! He gets along fine with other greyhounds and doesn't seem to have any separation anxiety. He is not cat safe and probably better suited for a home without small children because of his age and spunky personality.

What a GREYT day! 60+ humans, 30ish canines, some vet students from OSU’s 4L4H program… tail wags all around. Thanks to everyone who came to our picnic and donated and bid on items for our fundraiser. Your support is so appreciated and it was incredible to spend the day with you.

The Team Greyhound Picnic and Fundraiser is tomorrow, Saturday September 30th from 12-3pm.

This is a GREYHOUND ONLY event! Muzzles are required for the turn-out area.

Please go straight to the blue top tent and check-in when you arrive.

If you have not registered or payed for your ticket, please come anyways! You can check-in and pay your donation fee of $15 when you arrive.

Bring chairs and a bed or blanket for your greyhound to lay on.)

Please, DO NOT park on the grass!!

The picnic is at the park on the top of the hill. There will be a sign.

Bring CASH for the 50/50 and raffles!

Please clean up after your dog/s!!

There will be a lot of beautiful and fun items for the raffles and silent auctions. There will also be item that you can purchase for a donation fee.

The picnic will be "rain or shine" but it's supposed to be a nice day.
