We received a call from a citizen who had posted their missing cat online. They stated that a message was sent to them by someone posing as an Animal Control Officer who advised that they would need to send them a code so that it could be verified it was in fact their cat. When pressed as to which county he was with, he continued to ask for this code. The owner was advised by us that this was a scam. Pulaski County Animal Control will never ask for a code to be sent to our office to verify if it is your animal. You WILL however have to bring in to our office proof of ownership in the form of vet records or county tags.

After sending 78 animals to rescue since June, our donation funds have been depleted. What can you do to help? The first is our rescue fund, this fund helps give animals their freedom rides into a better life. Loki

Loki has been at the shelter since he was just a puppy, being adopted out for a short period of time while a puppy and returned at no fault of his own. He is now 1.5 old, and neutered. This boy is stressed out and needs a home that can train him and give him lots of love and reassurance. He loves getting out to play and go on walks, he enjoys treats, and being around people. He also is not the biggest fan of cats.
