⭐️STATE BOUND⭐️
The Dublin FFA competed in the Area IV Career Development Events are now District and Area Champions with 3 state-advancing teams!

🏆Entomology are Area Champions! 🥇Anabel Phelps won the contest as an individual, while 🥉David Greene placed 3rd, 🏅Alma Holguin placed 5th, and 🏅NavaLee White placed 10th! They have advanced to state and will compete at Texas Tech on May 3rd!

🏆Milk Quality placed 3rd in Area and are District Champions! 🥈Vanessa Pantoja placed 2nd in the area & won high-point individual in the District, and teammates Jayden Rojas, Aiden Bushman, and Paul Adams all placed in the top 20 individually! They have also advanced to state and will return to Tarleton on April 24th!

🏅The Dairy Cattle team placed 4th in Area and have advanced to state for the 2nd year in a row! 🏅Bailey Watson placed 4th in Area and won high-point individual in the District! 🏅Jitse DeBoer placed 10th with teammates Caden Vanbebber and Ernesto Lopez. They will compete at state at TSU on April 24th as well.

The Homesite team was 12th in Area and 3rd in District. 🏅David Hernandez placed 8th as an Individual! Daniel Staud and Silvestre Ramirez are teammates.

The Land team placed 13th in Area and 3rd in District. Team members are Ethan Whitaker, Tony Ortiz, Issac Puerta, & Eloy Vargas.

The Veterinarian Science team placed 6th in District and each student scored their personal best today! Team members are Paige McNutt, Abby Marett, Brecedes Rojas, & Hailie Whitworth.

The Dublin FFA Wildlife team placed 4th in district today! Team members are Nicole Foster, Jacob Southall, Trevor Williams, & Mason Williams. Congratulations on a great year!

🌷🎉🌷Floral Design is getting ready for prom one boutonnière at a time! 🌷🎉🌷

Mini practice boutonnières were created by all floral students and led by one of Tarleton’s student observing teachers. These kids never fail to impress!

The Dublin FFA traveled to San Angelo and Hamilton today to compete in two judging events.

The Entomology team won the Angelo State CDE with David Greene placing 3rd individually and Alma Holguin placing 7th. Teammates were Anabel Phelps and Keighly Lewis.

The Vet Science team also competed at the Angelo
state contest. Team members are Paige McNutt, Brecedes Rojas, Abby Marett, Brittney Everett, & Hailie Whitworth.

The Wildlife team placed 10th at the Central Texas contest hosted at the Game Warden Training Academy in Hamilton. Team members are Mason Williams, Paxton Loper, Trevor Williams, & Katie Hernandez.

The milk team had a great last invitational before area! For a second year team they have made leaps and bounds from last year! I wish I could keep this team forever! They are not only awesome at the contest, but also so much fun to travel and learn with!

The Dublin FFA Cotton Team placed 4th out of 15 teams at the Waco Midway Cotton CDE. Bailey Watson was 6th high individual out of 75 contestants. Other team members doing well were: Dominic Dominguez, Candy Rodriguez, and Zoey Soria. Dublin also competed in the Heart Of Texas Fair Cotton CDE where they placed 5th as a team.

We are so proud of our students hard work as we prepare for our Area CDE contest next week. The following teams competed and represented Dublin FFA well!

🌟Cotton Team placed 3rd out of 23 teams
⭐️Candy Rodriguez was 6th high individual out of 93 contestants.
