I was recently asked “ What advice do you have for someone struggling to find confidence in their work?”
They had mentioned that they think all their work looks horrible which is something I relate to very much.
My advice has and probably always will be take pictures of your work to look back on and use as reference for things you’d like to do better. Give your self grace, if you’re not at 100% your work isn’t going to be either and to continue your education when ever you can weather that be going to classes or taking constructive criticism from those around you.
The first picture is a groom I was really proud of about 6 years ago when I was just starting out, the second one is of the same dog I groomed a month ago.
