Dr. Katie says...

A note to our current fitness clients:
Kat and Terri are beginning to hold monthly group classes for our regular fitness clients.

These classes will be offered twice per month (one weekday evening and one weekend morning) to offer owners fitness plans they can complete at home.

Classes will focus on strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

Come bond with your dog while learning new ways to improve their physical health!

Have we told you lately how much we cherish our neighbors at Dubuque Sign Company ?

The first time we had a meat order delivered, without missing a beat our neighbor offered to drive it to our building with his forklift.

We asked if they would be so kind again for this delivery and he said yes.

That is 3,630 POUNDS of meat that we didn't have to pull off the semi by hand and carry down to the building.

We are so lucky to have amazing neighbors who are willing to help! Thank you Dubuque Sign!

She has been putting in countless hours listening to lectures, studying, and practicing technique between working full time at the clinic and wrangling her 3 boys. A message from Terri:

My favorite part of working with animals, especially here at Goodlife with our fitness and rehab animals, is seeing improvement with someone’s pet who has been entrusted to our care.

The Improvement can be physical or emotional. Seeing an animal gain strength and mobility following surgery or witnessing a new fitness day camp dog settle in and become more confident and be excited to learn new things absolutely warms my heart.

I love seeing your pet become mentally and physically healthier.

Saige recently celebrated her 1 year rehab-aversary with us after a back surgery last fall.

Her family drives over an hour at least once, if not twice, per week for her hour long sessions.

Talk about a family that has put in the work!

We are SO proud of Saige and cherish the relationship we have built with the whole family!

Ammo came to us in early May.

When we met her, she was dragging her back leg after an injury.

As an avid duck hunter, we wanted nothing more than to get her back to doing what she loved.

Ammo's owners and our rehab team put in many hours with her over the summer.

When we got the text mid-September that she brought a ton of ducks back, we had tears in our eyes.

This is why we do what we do!
