Starting off October with this precious puppy joining Groomingdales! Introducing Patches! She is the proud owner of her furever family Bob and Belinda Reding! Patches was born June 18th of 2025. She is a purebred Shihtzu with a playful spirit and personality plus! Let's welcome Patches with puppy kisses and open paws!!

As my vacation comes to an end I want to thank those of you that had wished me a fun, enjoyable and safe travels. I didn't let you down because I had an amazing time in Arizona! From Phoenix to Scottsdale to Williams and The Grand Canyon! The last stop was to Sedona where the shopping is plentiful and the scenery exquisite! Definitely one of my Favorite places to be! But the Best part of my vacation was being reunited with my USMC Sisters, Bo and Kentucky, plus meeting a few of their family members as well! Forty-six years later we're still going strong revisiting past memories and making the new! Semper Fi My Friends!!

Happy GrandParents Day (Weekend)!

What do you get when 2 wonderful families, that have been friends for many years, introduce their fur babies to each other thus creating a new kind of friendship? You guessed it! They become Overjoyed Grandparents!! That is exactly what has happened to 2 of Groomingdales Families!! Cheri Roling and her family have a beautiful little girl named Sophie! She is a Bichon/Maltese X and was born and raised in the Roling household! Gary Knief has an absolute character of a Teddy Bear named T-Bone! He is Gary's everything and lacks for nothing! So when Cheri and Gary had play dates with Sophie and T-Bone it wasn't long before Yogi Bear joined the family! He was born July 13th and will continue to live with his forever family at the Rolings, with of course, many visits from his Dad T-Bone and Grandpa Gary!
Grandparents Day is the Perfect time for Family photos! Enjoy Yogi Roling Knief's 1st family photos!
I hope every Grandparent has the opportunity to create memories of a lifetime this Grandparents Day!

Celebrating Labor Day!!

This past week has been busy for so many families, with their children heading back to school and young adults starting new adventures in college. The "Empty Nest Syndrome " can really take its toll on the parents! Not for Dan and Keri Schwenker though. They have the ultimate solution! EXPAND THE FAMILY with More Fur Babies!! They already have 2 precious Littles named Bell and Toby but why not add a few more! A true Labor of Love! Soooo Along came Buster and Lottie! These little dollies are 3/4 poodle with a splash of beagle, born 6-28-25.
Congratulations to the Schwenker Family! Buster and Lottie, Welcome to Groomingdales Family!
What a beautiful start in celebrating Labor Day weekend!!

LUCKY #7
It's been said Paw Pals are like potato chips, you can't have just one! That certainly is the case with in the Tom and Kari Voss household. With 6 furbabies already living life like royalty, they opened up their hearts and their home to yet one more baby to make Lucky #7!
Introducing TIKI! She is a purebred Biewer Terrier, born Aug 4th, 2024! So what is a Biewer Terrier you ask? A couple in Germany by the name of Biewer started with 1 pair of Yorkshire Terriers in 1985 where they created and perfected the now known "Biewer Terrier"! They were recognized by the AKC in 2021. Of course there is more information via the internet.
I believe Tom and Kari have definitely become Honorary Paw Pals for adding another LITTLE to their home and to the Groomingdales Family!!

WECOMING TIMBER!
While Steve and Judy Bries had been family to Groomingdales in previous years with their beloved Willow, it was time for their new furbaby to experience the 1st of many Spa Days! Timber is a shihtzu puppy eager to experience everything! Play time is his life! The 1st grooming experience is usually a transformation that creates a "WOW" reaction and he was no exception ! Enjoy Timber's Before and After pic's and let's all Welcome him with Open Paws and a Warm Bow Wow!!

Please be mindful of All Paw Pals during this Independence Day and keep them safe!

Fireworks might be fun for us, but for dogs, they can be loud, confusing, and downright scary. The sudden booms and flashes can trigger anxiety or cause dogs to panic and try to run. That’s why it’s important to create a safe, quiet space inside your home where your dog can feel secure. Close windows and curtains, turn on a fan or calming music to mask the noise, and stay close if your dog needs comfort.

Double-check that your dog’s collar is secure and their ID tags are up to date, just in case they get spooked and run. More pets go missing on July 4 than any other day of the year, so it’s important to keep doors, gates, and yards secure. If your dog is especially anxious, consider a snug-fitting calming shirt, or ask your vet about ways to ease their stress.

A little planning can help your furry friend stay calm, safe, and stress-free during the holiday. 🎆

Vacation Time Is Here!!

Groomingdales will be closed from June 13th thru June 23rd! I am looking forward to a much needed Soul Injection with My Sisters!!
