Cooper - 4 yr old gelded micro mini donkey

This little guy has been with us since he was a weanling. Unfortunately my kids don’t have time to give him the affection he deserves and he really misses having shenanigans with other like minded mini donkeys who love to play and have zoomies. Would love to see him go to a home with a playful group like he used to have his companion has a home to go to but ahe was too chill for his liking anyway. He’s the smallest mini donkey I’ve ever seen and has foal sized hooves! He will hang out and get loves all day if you let him. Every time he drinks he walks around with his tongue sticking out for a few minutes. It’s the cutest. We’ve had so many people ask us over the years if we’d offer him for adoption… now is your opportunity! Leads great and would make a good therapeutic donkey. This little man is so special so we will be extra picky about where he goes 🥰 $1300 adoption fee

Butterball- 8 yr old mini cart pony.
My son has gotten too busy with sports to keep his cart pony exercised and well loved so it’s time to find him a new family. This little energizer bunny will pull you around for hours when he is at peak performance! We have shod him before and took him to the mountains and he kept up with the big guys. Hes been driven by several different people and can be controlled pretty well but he does prefer a trot pace. So if you want him slower you have to hold him back. He’s super fun and is traffic safe. We had him trained to pull a cart less than 2 years ago and he took to it really fast. I have never tried putting a kid on his back. Mine are too big to even try but he has a lot of go so I’m not sure if that’s the life for him anyway. He’s not easy to catch but once you corner him he stops running every time and is not hard to handle.
Adoption fee $1500 can sell the equipment and cart for an additional fee if someone needs it.

Amelia update: you all had no idea how amazing Amelia is looking now that she’s fully rehabbed! This sweet girl is going to make an awesome gaited horse for someone. She moves so smoothly and rides good. She needs an owner who will keep her listening on the ground because she does have a tendency to be pushy but is a lot better about that. Her eye removal has completely healed nicely and the only time she even acts like its any different is when you touch her on her right side without talking to her first. Shes 16 years old and about 15.1hh tall. $1300 adoption fee

Jelly Bean update: this little girl went with us to a birthday party today and got all kids of attention from so many people and kids and she did great. Her friend Sophie got adopted so she joined our mini herd and is getting along well with everyone. Was perfect for the farrier and the vet did her shots and coggins the other day and aged her at 30 years old but said she has very good joints and flexibility and said that ponies live a lot longer than most horses. She’s a really calm and easy to handle pony if anyone is looking for one for the kids to dote over she’d be an awesome pony. $500 adoption fee

Nemos Day 22 update: This sweetheart is doing so much better. We’ve put a good amount of weight on him already but he does need more before he will be ready to ride. He got his shots and coggins done by the vet and she aged him at 25. He did great for the farrier.

Dory day 22 update: This old girl has gained a little weight, Farrier trimmed her, and vet checked her out. She said she’s around 26 and does have some arthritis in that puffy knee but she feels after she gets more weight on that she will be ok for light trail riding. We didn’t give her shots yet because she needs a couple more weeks to get healthier.

Sophie is a newer arrival. She had been a show pony for two sweet girls. Unfortunately she has some arthritis that makes her drag her back foot if shes ridden too hard so she is now just a walk trot pony. She’s very safe, sweet, and easy to handle. Vet will be here Monday to age her and do an exam and X-rays if she sees a need.

Dory (formerly called Sally at the kill pen) got a good bath today to get that caked on mud off of her and we found a many wounds that we are treating now. She also has a swollen knee that’s soft so she will be getting several PEMF treatments to see if it will improve. You can see how skinny she is when her hair is wetted down but she has a really good appetite and so far is just a little sick with a snotty nose. She did well for her bath until I had to scrub the mud off of so many wounds which made her very fidgety but she was still being sweet. Can’t wait to see her transform into a healthy beautiful thoroughbred.

Nemo (formerly called Butch at the kill pen) got a good bath today to get that caked on mud off of him and we found a couple wounds that we are treating now. You can see how skinny he is when his hair is wetted down but he has a really good appetite and so far is just a little sick. He is such a good boy and was an angel for his bath.

Our bonded pair from the kill pen got out of that awful place last night. We are hoping it will get warm enough today so we can get them a good bath. These two are super sweet. We are still working on picking names for them. They are both sick and under weight so we have a long road ahead but they are super relieved to be here. As of right now we are letting them quarantine together but if their space gets too crowded we will have to move one to the next QT run in.

Here is a video of Lucky aka LH Lucky Four Frost just doing rehab work to help his sway back. For a couple of weeks we’ve been doing these exercises with the Pessoa lunging aid to build his core muscles and prepare him for training. He just went to the trainers today so we will be getting some riding videos in the next week. He’s broke to ride but did need some refining on his skills because he is so young and because he holds his head too high when ridden. The trainer will be working with him for 30 days. He’s got wonderful ground manners for such a young horse.
