Some of you may have seen this dog over the past few months traveling loose, and also on Facebook. I would like to announce she has found herself a new wonderful home and owner. Due to the help of a few agencies “Lucy” is now loved and cared for by a kind new owner. In this picture you will see Officer Pacheco, Lucy, and her new owner Ben!

This dog is named Cody. We attempted to catch him, and return him to his owner who is known to us. Unfortunately Cody is quite hard to catch. If he is recovered and ends up in anyone’s possession please call the Dudley Police Department 508-943-4411. Cody was last seen on West Main Street.

If anyone is missing a small to medium gray and white colored, possible terrier/ schnauzer in the area of Schofield Ave and Brandon Road please call the Dudley Police Department at 509-943-4411. (The dog had a black electronic collar attached with no tags)

Officer Luis Pacheco has taken over the role as the Animal Control Officer for the Town of Dudley. His primary role is to handle any dog calls or injured animal calls (dogs and cats). Any wildlife calls (rabid animals, nuisance wildlife, injured wildlife, etc) can still be reported to the police and will either be handled by the police department, Massachusetts Environmental Police police, or referred to other agencies. Hello everyone! Dudley Animal Control is now being managed by the Dudley Police Department. Our services will assist the town in licensing, and nuisance DOG calls. Please be aware our services are limited to dogs and cats only, with limited services for cats. Dudley Animal Control will only assist if a cat is Injured and located, and needs to be transported for immediate care to a veterinarian hospital. Any loose, located DOG in town can be reported to the non emergency police line at 508-943-4411.
