October's (yes, we're early lol) Dog of the Month is Stetson! After the brand or the football player? Let us know what YOU think (; Stetson is a gentle and sweet Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, born around July 2020, weighing 55lbs. This special boy is a tripod, but you would never even know - he gets around just as well as any four-legged dog! He is crate trained, house trained, and knows his basic commands. Stetson needs a home with another dog to play with or an active family to give him the fun times he loves. Having 3 legs does not hold this kid back- he loves being on the go!! Stetson is dog friendly and is friendly with kids and adults. Stetson is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Stetson, please email us at [email protected]. September's "Dog of the Month" is Raleigh! Raleigh stayed with us for a little bit while he was getting his full check up and neuter done. He's the sweetest boy, gets a long with other dogs, and really enjoys the company of people! We enjoyed having him here, he was a perfect gentleman. (: Contact Barkville Dog Rescue for more info!

Exciting news!!

We will be at the Duluth Fall Festival (/) this year on Saturday, Sept 30th from 9 AM - 7 PM and Sunday, Oct 1st from 9 AM - 5 PM.
Come join us! We will be handing out some fun goodies and have fun activities planned.

BARKVILLE DOG OF THE MONTH! We are switching from weekly to monthly so we can highlight these lovely fur babies for a longer amount of time! Tequila is a friendly and sweet pittie mix, weighing 80lbs, and is around 7yr old. This low rider loves spending time with kids, and is very loving! She is also good with dogs, but would probably prefer to be around other low key pups like herself. Tequila has a low/medium energy level. She has been on many outings around town with BarkVille volunteers and has done wonderful. Tequila is great in the car and would be the perfect dog for someone who wants to take their pup with them to breweries, restaurants, or on any fun outings.

Tequila is currently stuck in boarding and is in immediate need of a foster or adopter. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
