Parmesan has been returned due to family relocating. He was part of the little " Cheese Litter" fostered at the Cincoski's.
"Parmy" has an upcoming vet appointment and then he will be ready to find a new home! He is around 8/9 mos old.
We will keep you all posted. Welcome back Parmy and look how handsome you have become!

UPDATE: Rachelle says Joey aka Fabio will make a wonderful therapy pet! He loves attention and will make you a great companion! Rachelle's note from foster care:
Mr. Joey Fabio McSruffyPants is fully integrated into the house now. He did beautifully with all the pet and foster kitties (introductions are done slowly and closely monitored) He’s a bit intimidated by the dog, which makes sense. André the Giant is well trained with the fosters, and I’m asking him to give Fabio extra space (extra treats help doggo 🐶😁).
André has been choosing that anyways, sensing Fabio’s uncertainty. I’ve kind been calling him Fabio cuz he’s so incredibly loveable!! He loves hugs and gives great kisses.
My neighbor Hans camo over today and Fabio did great with him too. He calmly hung with me first for security, but then went over to Hans for extra luvns
Mike and Tammy and April, I talk about you every day and tell him you miss him.❤💋😁

Happy Adoption Day to Ziggy! She was fostered by Lisa after Ziggy was found outside trying to survive in the cold. No chip and we could not find her owner.
Lisa has now decided to adopt her into her home with her other rescue cats. Ziggy is doing very well and is a very large size pretty dilute Calico.
Thank you Lisa for adding her to your cat friendly home and taking Ziggy in when she needed it the most.

Happy Adoption Day to Crockett! Crockett arrived with a litter needing to be spayed/ neutered and vetted and then find loving homes!
Cheryl is one of our Board Members and Foster Mom. Crockett will have other cats to bond with. She had been looking for a sweet long haired black kitty and we are so happy she will be his "fuever home!"

He is available through Oreo's rescue. Pecan is good with other cats and dogs and LOVES attention! He has to find a home due to illness in the family. THIS IS A COURTESTY POST.

Here is an update on Joey, aka Scruffy who has moved to Rachelle's foster home. We hear he LOVES snuggles! He has pretty green eyes and a thick, long coat! Poor guy was found trying to survive outside in a rural area. He is looking for a single adult or a couple to adopt him for his forever home !
Here is Rachelle's note:
"Im too exhausted and in pain to post much, but this guy is an absolute doll!! I'd planned to start him in the big kennel - I ditched that plan quickly! Mr. Joey McScruffyPants is doing wonderfully in the foster room, well ahead of my assessment schedule. He wants to join the rest of the household, but it’s important to take time with the critter introductions, for everyone’s sake. I’m working from home tomorrow, so the foster room door is fastened (securely) open about 2 inches so The Sniffaging may commence.!" ❤💋😁

UPDATE! FINDER IS TAKING THIS KITTY TO ANIMAL ALLIES SOOON. Somebody has contacted us about this cat she is feeding around 18th ave east. She says she thinks he has ear mites so she does not want him indoors around her other cats.
She says she has posted him many places already. Is anyone out there able to help this little guy out? Maybe thake him in and see if you can have him checked for a chip and try to find his owner? He does not look that old and it is getting pretty cold!

Joey AKA Scruffy came to us months ago when he turned up in a rural area outside of one of our foster homes in Barnum. No microchip.
Tammi and her husband took him in and we had him vetted and neutered. He arrived with skin infections and a sore foot. He has recovered from them. He is a very affectionate cat, however, he did grab and scratch at their feet sometimes, so they were nice enough to purchase a catio for him to hang out in.
He has now moved to Rachelle's home so she can work on socializing him and monitor his behavior. She has not had to crate him yet and he seems to be blending in well with the other cats at her home.
Rachelle says so far, he seems like a super LOVEBUG that thrives on getting tons of attention! Once we have a handle on his behavior, and feel he is safe to go to a home, he will be ready for adoption.
His coat is much longer now, so hopefully we can get some new pictures for you all to see of how he has progressed in the foster homes and is feeling so much better!
He would do best with a single adult or couple. He is an older cat, the vet estimated him to be about 8 or 9 years old. Poor guy was outside in the cold and trying to survive on his own. He is an INDOOR, FRIENDLY cat. It would be so wonderful to find him a happy, forever , home! One that could give him all the attention he wants!

Happy Adoption Day to Sunny! Sunny arrived with a litter that was given to our foster care program ( Diane's home) and she has now found a loving home! She has some new buddies, Eddie the dog and Sassy their other cat to play with!
Sunny and Sassy look very much alike!

We have had new " Warm Fuzzy" join us in Rachelle's foster home. He arrived from a vet in Grand Rapids!
Here is Rachelle's note:
"The owners had serious health problems and needed to move from their house into an apartment. They had 3 kitties and could only keep 2 by building rules.
They were so sad, and I can see why! Squeaky is a total love, massive purr and loves attention!"

"He’s very submissive. He’s doing great with my kitties, but he should not go anywhere where another cat would bully him. He will not stand up for himself at all !"

"Squeaky is doing fabulous, and he didn’t get much attention while I was looking for my lost cat, Havi He has free rein of the house now and comes up to me for luvens. He stays away from the dog. Now that I have more time, I’ll work on his confidence with Puppers. He’s just a Precious young fluff dude, so Handsome, total lovey dovey 🥰 He’ll be a treasure for someone!"

Squeaky is a brown and white tabby with a short coat. He will be ready for adoption real soon! He is a young adult. He was surrendered to a vet's office. He is neutered, utd on shots and tested neg for Felv/FIV.

Someone found this friendly cat in West Duluth (no microchip) and they are not able to find the owners!! They said they tried Missing Pets of the Northland already and they posted her. Anyone that would be interested in fostering? The foster can put her on her porch as she is allergic, but would like to find a foster home for her since she is such a friendly cat. We have a new update on the "Premie Litter" that arrived small sized for their age but have caught up leaps and bounds in foster care! They are waiting for their spay or neuter dates and then they will be ready for adoption! Sweet as can be and fostered at Diane's foster home. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Jerry , Smurphy and Tabitha are fostered at Diane's foster home. They are about 10 weeks old. They were taken in with Mama Riley from a rural area. They are waiting on their spay and neuter surgeries. Once they are done, they will be ready for adoption. Please do not ask to adopt. We do not adopt out kittens and cats unless they are spayed or neutered. Thank you for your patience! ❤❤❤
