Cherie shared that Penny and Denny, former Warm Fuzzies, are celebrating their Happy " Gotcha Day" today! It has been 11 years. They were originally surrendered to our rescue when the owner, sadly, passed away.
Cherie's family came forward to give them a loving home!

We have been sent a happy update on a former Warm Fuzzy, Kenta! Kenta is a blind Tabby cat that was adopted about 18 mos. ago. He is now named Smokey! Diane was the foster Mom. Maybe she can remind us more about his history?
Kenta has a buddy that he has bonded with and he is doing great and thriving n his adoptive home!

This pretty kitty is only around a year old and small sized. Sadly, she escaped her foster home shortly after arrival. She was residing in the area of the Kornerstore, Haines road and Hermantown Road intersection in her foster home.
We received a message that someone has been seeing her on their RingCam video during the night on Celia street.
If anyone lives around Celia street, please keep an eye out. The weather is getting colder and she is all alone! She is a bit shy so we need to bring a humane trap to try and catch her.

We have a happy update on "Havarti", a former Warm Fuzzy! I believe he was saved from the streets of Cloquet! What an amazing life he gets to share with Rachelle! He was fostered by her and ended up being a permanent resident, now they get to share lots of good times!

UPDATE ON TOUKA! ABIGAIL FOUND A NEW HOME FOR HER! THIS IS A COURTESY POST..WE DO NOT HAVE THIS KITTY IN OUR CARE. IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, WE CAN PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH THE OWNER OF THIS BEAUTIFUL CAT!❤💋

Touka is looking for a home. A nice family took her in when a neighbor asked them to take her.
Unfortunately, Touka is not getting along with the cats at the new home and they have worked a long time and tried lots of options. They have to separate her from the other cats.
Touka is a lovely, pretty long haired Tortishelle cat. She is already spayed but needs her shots updated.(The family is not able to do that at this time)
Touka was raised around a large dog and did well in her original home. The current caretaker has her record of spay and shots that were started at the vet. Touka is about two years old.
Touka is a great family cat, too, she does great around kids! She does NOT scratch or bite. She likes to be held. The poor girl has had her life turned upside down when she had to relocate and it is not working out. She deserves a loving home!
If you would like more information we can put you in touch so you can call or text the caretaker about sweet Touka!
They are only asking a fee of $25 for adoption.
She is located in Duluth.

We have a sad update on a sweet bunny, a former "Warm Fuzzy", adopted years ago, but we are grateful she had a very loving, adoptive, stable home all these years and with bunny friends too!

Here is Ruth's note:
" I adopted Tinkerbell (black and white) from you in October of 2016. She died last night from old age. She had a male bunny friend (white) who sat with her and would groom her."

"My records show that she was ten months old when I adopted her, so she almost made it to ten years old! In the many years she lived with us she has brought so much joy and happiness to us and the other rabbits she lived with. I so much appreciate that you brought her into our family!"

"Thank you for all you've done for the many animals you've cared for over the years. Your work has made such a huge difference to so many people and critters."

We have some happy updates on former Warm Fuzzies loving life together in their happy home!
Years ago when we held events at the Miller Hill Mall near Yonkers, we met Jennie and Jeremy, who first adopted "Meena" who was originally found living in a woodpile for months outside trying to survive! (A nice lady brought her to our attention.) I remember Meena happily running to me when I went to meet her. She was very hungry and so happy to be safe in foster care!
Jennie and Jeremy came back to adopt " Cyrus' a boy kitty, to keep Meena company and the two sweet cats bonded are still doing very well together!
Jennie moved to Sacramento and that is where they currently reside. Thank you to Jeremy for taking the time to share their latest pictures and updates!

We have a happy update on two former Warm Fuzzies boy kitties! They were adopted at separate times but are now very bonded boys!
Ariuna's family adopted "Opie" who is now called "Simba" (the orange one) in January, 2020 and he is now 6 years old!
Dusty (brown and white) was adopted in August, 2023 so he just turned two years old.
We are so grateful to get updates on our former fosters and to see them loving life in their adoptive homes! Warms our hearts!
Here is Ariuna's note:
Our Cats Simba (previous Opie) and Dusty are doing great. We love them a lot. Simba is very gentle, sweet and independent cat, Dusty is very smart, social and playful. Dusty was a Warm Fuzzies returned cat because he was going in his previous owners HVAC. But in our home, he crawls and gets in crawl space, but he does not ruin or destroy anything. They have a loving home and enjoy the best cat life. Also they got along well. Here are few photos of our furry babies!

We have some new pics of Breezy! He has come out of his shell more and is having fun playing with the other cats. He mostly ignores the small dogs.
Breezy has a sleek body much like a Siamese with thin legs and a long tail. He has the cutest "Meow" that sounds like a baby kitten!
Breezy is affectionate and friendly, a great kitty to add to a single or family home!
