I was told I don’t post enough of him so prepare for some baby horse spam!

Nivek is almost four months old. I had the sad realization yesterday that he has now lived roughly 2/3 of his life without his mom. Thankfully it hasn’t kept him down at all. He’s just shy of 13h in the hip and very butt high at the moment 😳 and check out the hair! I really wish there was a way to figure out what his breeding is.

Another chapter closing and beginning. I delivered Ivan to his new family yesterday. They are thrilled and so am I! He’s going to receive so much love and attention 💙 and bonus, he once again is living at the same barn as Frode! I’m going to miss this big boy but am so happy for his future

Due to unfortunate circumstances of herd hierarchy, Stetson is looking for a new pasture. I listed him earlier this summer (see attached picture for original ad info). I have two more consignments to move otherwise I’d be picking him up myself. He’s such a cool horse! Very typical Arab (fun, smart and in your pocket). He’s going to make someone a fantastic partner once he’s tuned up!

It makes me so happy to post this. I delivered Freya to her new home last night. This lucky girl is going to have an amazing life and partnership with her new human. I’m lucky she left because she was a suuuuper tempting one to keep around. Love this baby horse ❤️

“NERO’S RAVEN” 2018 Friesian Cross mare, 15.1h

Raven is a stunning young horse by Litrik fan Synaeda out of an Arab cross mare. Beautiful up hill mover and big gaits! Raven loves liberty work and being outside. She’d make a fantastic trail partner but pretty enough to excel in the show ring too. Raven was lightly started as a four year old and due to no fault of her own, she’s been sitting since then and in need of a restart. Super smart mare with a brain that’s best while having a job. Best suited for an experienced rider due to being green. Raven does have a mild OCD lesion on her right hock that has not bothered her during any of her training. Current radiographs of both hocks available upon request and orthopedic surgeon consulted with Anoka Equine. Per recommendation, it may or may not need to be removed due to how minor it is. Utd on everything. Easy keeper, no maintenance, lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd

Ok you guys, I really REALLY like this little mare. She is one of the quietest babies I’ve ever had come through. It’s easy to forget she’s only three! This was a hop on and go ride. Yes, yes I do loads of groundwork. But I just know that I can swing a leg over Freya and she goes right to work. She’s got some growing to do still but oh boy is she going to mature into a phenomenal mare. Someone needs to grab her! (Before i do 😉)

Conquering the world, one hay ring at a time

Normally, I don’t advocate young teaching young, but I think this video is proof that Fiona has graduated past the “young horse” category. She has always been one of the most levelheaded horses I’ve known, but this past year she has stepped so solidly into her role as a performance horse. She has been toting around many of my lessons students over the past few weeks and I truly think she enjoys it! Had the wonderful opportunity for an off property adventure yesterday to go ride with Lars Holmberg. Fiona continues to impressive. She might not LOVE to work hard but she gets an A for effort and is always willing to give me her all when I ask. We got some great homework to work on developing more pushing power as well as increasing balance and topline softening. Both her and I are feeling some underused muscles today 😆 Always grateful for these amazing opportunities to grow in our knowledge and for eyes on the ground
