I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it could be someone else’s 😇 Krampus photos! Not sure if it’s dog friendly. I’d would totally try to do this with my own dogs if I wasn’t over booked. If you are able to do this please share your picture with me. ♥️

A few have asked questions if ticks are still out. Answer is yes. They tend to be year round like fleas. Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they are not there. Or just because you have not had a problem in your yard doesn’t mean you don’t have some lurking.

If you can, you always want to keep your pet on a flea and tick preventive. We are finding that serresto collars work the best but if you’re unsure please talk to your vet.

I’ll be returning messages with in the next couple of days. Just got back from Vacation from a free range ranch with giraffes, otters, zebras, Emu and so many other animals. These animals are rescues from other people who bought exotic pets and realized they need a lot more care than they could give them.

Fetta (shih tzu-Chinese crested mix) wants to remind everyone that there are limited spots for Thanksgiving and Christmas grooming. Please keep in mine for Christmas time that snow days can happen. I do have online booking turned off for November and December so that I’m able to have a bit of organized schedule for the busy months. So reach out for appointments by text or call. Text is preferred since I can reply quicker vs call where I may not have reception. I won’t be taking new clients for November and December to give my regulars a chance to be on schedule.

Also if you left a message on Friday I will get back to you by the end of the day today. Slowly getting back to a few people today from over the weekend that called.

I know some of you always ask me how long should I wait to get my dog groomed?

Unfortunately, I’m terrible at answering this since I don’t keep my own dogs on a schedule. I really should but never have the time. If only there was a mobile groomer that could come to me to make my life easier 😆

Anyways.. I came up with ideal number of weeks a dog should be groomed.

With shedding dogs typically they shed spring and fall but the climate indoors and outdoors plays a part in that as well. AC, humidity, heat waves, cool days. Sometimes the coat doesn’t know what to do. More frequent grooms can help with the shedding problem.

If you’ll like to stay on schedule best to pre-book your next appointment 🥰
