The puppies took a field trip to visit our chickens today, and even got to observe one of our silkies from the sidelines! 🐓 They sure are growing all too quickly, and I wish time would just slow down a smidge so they can stay with me a little longer. 🥹 They start leaving the nest(pun intended) on January 7th, and that date is just too soon! I have enjoyed every moment of this puppy journey with my Shades of Blue babies. ❤️

Daisy’s babies finally got to explore outside today now that we had a break from the cold spell! They did so well and were incredibly confident as they navigated their new surroundings. 💙 They tuckered out quickly, though, and were ready for a nap by the end of their adventure! 😴 Overall, it was an excellent first trip outdoors!

It has officially been four weeks of loving these precious pups. 💙 They have started doing so much in the past week that it feels like an absolute whirlwind! Their little personalities are really starting to blossom - you can tell who would rather snuggle and who would rather play, which ones are more content versus opinionated. They also…

✅ were started on puppy mush
✅ were introduced to potty training
✅ obtained new toys to play with
✅ ventured out of their pen for the first time

We have another big week ahead of us! Another round of dewormer, continuing with regular meals, and the start of teaching them to stack for their future evaluations. 🩵 I just love these babies!

The Shades of Blue babies are officially three weeks and sure are starting to leave the potato stage behind! Big milestones are in their future, and I cannot wait to document them. In the meantime, enjoy this bushel of holiday-spirited pups. ⭐️

The puppies have officially completed their Early Neurological Stimulation(ENS) and Early Scent Introduction(ESI) now that they are two weeks + two days old! They’ve had nail trimmings, lots of handling, and plenty of snuggles in their 16 days of life, and I’m excited to see how they continue to blossom as they grow! It is a goal of mine to produce well-rounded companions with excellent temperaments, and that in turn comes from a combination of genetics and upbringing. 💙 If there is one thing that I expect of this pairing between Vigilante’s Royal and our Daisy, it is without a doubt the hope for wonderful personalities with just the right amount of drive!

Baby Tesla is doing so well in her very new show career! While there is a lot of puppy still in her system and plenty of maturing to do, I am so pleased with how she is handling the show ring and even more ecstatic that she is now up to four points. ❤️ We have some time until her next show, so she will be focusing on growing up a bit more before then. 🥰

The Shades of Blue puppies have officially hit the one week mark and are absolutely perfect! I cannot get enough of these sweet faces! 😍

A fun fact about this litter is that, when they were being born, they came out in a pattern! Merle, tri, merle, etc., so I plan on sticking to their birth order whenever I upload their pictures! Such a neat coincidence. 💙🩵🤍

Welcome to the world, babies. I am so stoked to present our Shades of Blue litter, out of our girl Daisy and by Vigilante’s boy, Royal. We have been planning these puppies for the better part of six months so I cannot explain how ecstatic I am now that they’re finally here! Fingers and paws are crossed that we will have wonderful prospects from this pairing. 🤞
