WE ARE HIRING...

Cove Mountain Animal Hospital is currently looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a crucial role in providing exceptional service. Our CSRs provide the first impression of the hospital to clients and patients. Customer service experience, basic computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask are necessary requirements for this job.

Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Appointment scheduling
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience handling multiple phone calls simultaneously
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor
• Computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office, Idexx Neo, and Idexx Cornerstone a bonus
• Knowledge of basic pet needs including routine care, vaccinations, preventatives, etc
• Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced setting

Benefits
• Pay: From $14.00 an hour
• Paid time off after one year
• Employee discounts after 90 days


Monday 9 -6
Wednesday 9-5
Thursday 9-5
Friday 9-5 (every other)
Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed

ROAD CLOSING... AGAIN

Schoolhouse road entrance between Farmer Boy and The Cove Barn (Big red barn) will be closed from October 14 through October 21st, 2024.

Scheduled clients will be seen as we understand there could be delays.

Please do allow yourself plenty of time to arrive for your appointment.

Especially clients that have appointments during school hours as you will need to use Blackhawk Drive at Susquenita High School as an alternative route.

Have patience and understanding with staff and fellow clients that are having their pets cared for.

This is an additional inconvenience to our local roadways, that will primarily affect the southbound clients.

Writing and finding words about loss is always the hardest to do. We lost our “practice pet” Tutti over the weekend.

Tutti may not have been the CMAH staff personal pet, but she was the team’s everyday dog and impacted each one of us in her own special way.

Tutti was such a special dog, with an incredible life story. We can’t thank Dr. Schwartz and Nora enough for sharing this special life with us over the years.

UPDATE ON THE PAVING PROJECT OF SCHOOLHOUSE ROAD....

The paving part of the project will start on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. You MUST let the flagger know you have an appointment at Cove Mountain Animals Hospital to prevent any long term delays.

Depending on which part of the road that is being paved at your appointment time, you could be detoured. Please allow time for detours and delays.

The project is scheduled to be completed by September 17, 2024.

PLEASE LEAVE EARLY AND EXPECT DELAYS !!!!!!!

Construction/Paving project will start on September 3 2024 on Schoolhouse Road. We spoke with the foreman, please let flaggers know you have an appointment with CMAH. You will be let through or detoured the quickest way to the practice.

The project is to last 2 weeks , weather depending.

Please allow plenty of time to arrive and expect delays.

Remember to be kind to all involved as we navigate through this.
