What's FRAP? And no, I'm not referring to the drink you order from your favorite coffee shop. FRAP stands for Frenetic Random Activity Periods. Also knows as the "zoomies" - This is when your well-mannered puppy goes absolutely crazy! He or she will run around, jump on the furniture, attack everything, spin in circles, bark and quite honestly act like they have gone off the deep end. This is totally normal! The good news is that these periods of high energy only last a few minutes and your dog will grow out of them. With that being said, this is a time when young children need to be picked up and placed in a safe location! FRAP and young children are rarely a good mix.

Mioodles takes great care and attention to every moment they have raising their puppies. The in home atmosphere ensures they are acclimated to daily sounds and the environment they will live in for the rest of their life. She is great at answering questions and being open to share pictures and videos of her babies as they grow. Highly recommend this breeder!!

Raising an Empowered Puppy: Teaching puppies they don't need to be picked up or even talked to, every time they see us is important because we want them to know that playing on their own or taking a rest can be done without reassurance. We are building confident, independent little pups who can bond with their humans, and not depend on us for all their happy moments. Of course it's hard to not pick them up! I enjoy every puppy kiss and cuddle! But there will be moments when you are reading a book to your child, cooking dinner or working from home, that your puppy needs to be ok in their space. Puppies can throw fits that match a toddler's! We want to empower our puppy, not enable!
