Planning to travel and board your furry friend this holiday season? Make sure they're ready! 🐶🏨 Most boarding facilities require pets to be up to date on core vaccinations, including Bordetella and Canine Influenza, and have a negative f***l parasite test.

🎃🐾 Happy Howl-a-Ween from Heritage Animal Hospital! 🐾🎃

Just a heads-up, we’ll be closing at 4 PM on Thursday, October 31st, so our staff can enjoy Halloween with their ghouls and goblins! 👻🧙‍♀️

We’ll be back to our normal hours on Friday, Nov 1st. Have a spooky and safe Howl-a-Ween! 🎃👻🐾

Congratulations to our employee of the month Erika! ✨

Erika joined our team in 2016 as an LVT. She graduated with a bachelor of liberal arts and an associate's in applied animal science.

Erika works in multiple areas in the hospital but her favorite parts are fixing injuries on patients in surgery and finding results in the lab. In Erika’s free time she spends it with her family. She enjoys watching movies and playing outside with her children and boxer Relli.

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your patients, their owners and to your HAH family! We are lucky to work alongside you, Erika! 💗🐾

🍂 Did you know that autumn leaves can cause skin issues for your pets? 🍁 Oak and maple leaves can trigger allergies, while decomposing leaves may harbor mold, fungi, and even hidden pests like fleas and ticks. Wet or treated leaves can lead to irritation and contact dermatitis. Keep your pet safe this fall: limit play in leaf piles, brush off debris, bathe them regularly, and stay on top of flea and tick prevention! 🐾
