I want to give a shout out to an inanimate object 😊the competitor bags. The actual bags were me but several people helped with the contents. Arthur brings them home all along when he judges and they pretty much seem geared for the dog. I wanted to do something for the competitor. Thank you Black Dawg Studio for the kind donation of the paracord tabs, our friend that helped with the contents and a huge thank you to Anita Hunt and Leslie Carpenter for finishing putting them together when I just couldn't anymore.

****UPDATE.. Date has been changed to March 16th! ****Since we have everyone's attention.. The Fayetteville Schutzhund Club is hosting a "tracking seminar and classification" on March 16, 2024. More info to follow ..

One thing that I do want to mention because I refuse to just let it go...I was pressured about posting the location of the regional meeting/draw night. Almost immediately after I posted it someone called the Dunn Community Center and told them that we were going to be taking dogs into the meeting. If it hadn't been for the fact that I worked with the Dunn Police Dept. for almost 29 years we would have lost our draw night venue.

One thing that I want to make clear since it seems that we are being bashed in groups. We did not want to host this event. Two other clubs in the region bid on it and were chosen however they backed out. We were receiving messages, calls etc. regularly from clubs asking us to host and from persons talking about how dysfunctional the SE region is. I am not going to mar this page with all of the BS that went on directed towards our club and me personally. Congratulations to the winning teams and for those of you that didn't have the results that you hoped for..you still rock because you had the heart to get out there and you had that trust in your dog...You are still champions to us.

Somehow in posting the top 5 teams on the IPO site they failed to mention 5th place Tony McGhee with Oskar Leistung v Bora. Tony and Oskar were our 2023 SE Regional Champions!
