🎉 Happy New Year from Bits 2 Leashes! 🎉

As we ring in the new year with celebrations and fireworks, let’s not forget our furry friends who might find the festivities a little overwhelming. Fireworks can be scary for pets, but there are ways to help them stay safe and calm:

🐾 Create a safe space: Set up a quiet, cozy spot indoors where your pet can retreat to feel secure.

🐾 Drown out the noise: Turn on the TV, radio, or a white noise machine to help mask the sound of fireworks.

🐾 Keep them inside: Close windows, doors, and curtains to minimize the flashes and sounds.

🐾 Check your pet’s ID: Make sure their tags and microchip info are up to date in case they get spooked and try to bolt.

🐾 Plan ahead for meds: If your pet struggles with extreme anxiety, talk to your vet well in advance for medication or calming aids. If it’s too late for this year, mark your calendar to prep early next time!

Exciting Changes Ahead for Bits 2 Leashes in 2025!

Hi friends! As the year wraps up, I want to take a moment to thank you for trusting Bits 2 Leashes to care for your furry, feathered, and even hooved family members. It’s been an honor to look after your beloved pets, and I’m so grateful to be a part of their lives (and yours!).

With that said, I have a few updates to share as we step into the New Year.

🐾 A Small Price Adjustment Starting January 1st
To continue providing the personalized, top-quality care your pets deserve, I’ll be adjusting my rates starting January 1, 2025. This allows me to maintain the same level of dedication, reliability, and attention to detail that your pets have come to enjoy.

💳 A Quick Reminder About Booking & Deposits
I’ve also fine-tuned my policies to make scheduling as smooth as possible:

Services must be paid in full before the scheduled dates.

For overnight stays, a 50% deposit is due when you book, with the rest due before your service starts.

Cancellations: Drop-in visits must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance, and overnight stays require two weeks' notice for a refund.

Payments can be made through Venmo, invoice, or cash. (Checks aren’t accepted, sorry!)

A Warm Update on Our Services and Policies

Dear Valued Client,

As we look ahead to the new year, I want to take a moment to thank you for trusting Bits 2 Leashes to care for your beloved pets. Your continued support means so much to us, and we’re truly grateful to be part of your pet’s life.

Starting in January 2025, we’ll be making a few updates to our rates and policies to ensure we can continue providing the attentive and loving care your pets deserve.

Holiday Rates and Booking:
Beginning in 2025, holiday rates will be doubled to reflect the extra time and care required during these busy times. This adjustment ensures we can give your pets the focused attention they need, even during the holidays.

To help us better serve you, holiday bookings will also need to be made at least two weeks in advance starting in the new year.

A Small Adjustment to Our Rates:
In addition, there will be a slight increase in our rates for all bookings beginning in January 2025. This allows us to account for rising costs while maintaining the quality of care and reliability you’ve come to expect.

Our Payment Policy Reminder:

All bookings need to be paid in full before the service begins.

For overnight stays, a 50% deposit is required when booking, with the remaining balance due prior to your scheduled dates.

Cancellations:

Drop-in visits: Must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

Overnight stays: Must be canceled at least two weeks in advance.
