She's a shining star, this dog, with her infectious enthusiasm for long walks and hikes, and her natural talent for being a fantastic travel companion. Sitka's high energy and prey drive mean she's always on the go, but she's also a loving companion who adores snuggling up on the couch. She's adjusted beautifully to her crate, where she can rest and recharge, and although she enjoys getting playful with the bedding, it's clear she's capable of growth and learning.
Sitka thrives as a dominant companion and would pair well with a male, non-reactive dog in the same household. Her playful growls are a natural expression of enthusiasm, but may require some adjustment for new companions. To ensure her comfort, consider avoiding busy dog parks or visiting during quieter hours. Despite her small stature, she's a lively player who appreciates gentle, considerate companions.

What a remarkable dog! Brutus has been a cherished member of the Denkai family for almost a year now, and he truly embodies the essence of a charming gentleman. His striking looks are only matched by his sweet nature, which is sure to capture anyone's heart.
With eyes that seem to yearn for love and companionship, Brutus dreams of a warm, loving home where he can finally feel safe and secure, complete with his own cozy bed.
Brutus has faced significant challenges in his life. He came from a background of abuse, where he learned to distrust people, particularly men. His journey has been fraught with difficulties, including a close call with euthanasia that he narrowly escaped on multiple occasions. We took him in to provide a safe haven, but it pains us to see the longing in his eyes for the affection he has never truly known. Every day, we feel the weight of his unfulfilled desire for love and belonging.
Despite his past, Brutus is a well-behaved companion. He is house trained, crate trained, and knows various commands. While he gets along well with female dogs, he would thrive best in a calm, serene environment without male dogs around. Brutus is also fantastic off-leash, making him an ideal companion for someone with space to roam. Rambo Update!! He’s doing so well. Thank you for allowing us to have him! So thankful for everything you do. He’s better every day. Training to go to his “place” (bed), learning not to jump (still working on this, but getting better!), very few accidents in the house. So lovey ♥️. He loves to cuddle. Just got some balls for fetch last night and he LOVES to play. Also loves his towel for tug o war. A small bit of reactivity on walks, but mostly friendly and wants to play. he has been great with visitors to the house. He’s most attached to my oldest son, whom you met, but loves the whole family.
