Practice being patient and think of ways to get their attention and teach them to notice your instructions properly when off leash, especially in a public setting. Attitude should always be in check before a training session! 😉 #2 - 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 and 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 are ESSENTIAL when teaching off-leash manners. Use the same cues and rewards consistently, ensuring your dog understands the expectations your requesting! #3 - 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 your dog to other 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 and 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 helps to build their trust and confidence. 💙𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 is crucial for off-leash manners. Expose your dog to various environments, people, and other dogs in controlled settings.
