read the truth.......

The paperwork we received from the vet clinic told us the cold, hard truth about the kitty we released this morning.

She is estimated to be around 7 months old, a kitten herself. She was also a nursing mama. Her uterus was small which indicates her kittens are closed to being weaned.

With an average gestation period of a couple of months, it tells us this little girl was PREGNANT AT ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD. For anyone who tells you this can't happen, here is the proof.

Don't wait to have your pets spayed or neutered if you don't want the burden of figuring out what to do with an unwanted litter of kittens. Please do your part to end cat overpopulation by spaying and neutering!

Luckily, for this young mama, the endless pregnancies end now. Some kittens have already been rescued and we are actively working to get the rest. ❤
