These three were such a hoot in Puppy School this morning. Margie the Terrier is often the director of play. She loves initiating hide and seek type games. She has a great future ahead of her as CEO of team building & strategy.
Socialization to everyday stuff - in this case a fan - builds confidence and is just as important as socializing to other dogs and people! Plus, some dogs really like a little face air! ❤️

My job. It’s pretty awesome most of the time. These two had me in stitches all morning! 😆
Ned & June’s little interaction with a toy. In case you need something cute to start your day!
In Puppy School, we introduce scent puzzles to work the developing brain! You can see some of the ‘hides’, but Margie is using her nose, not her eyes, to search! We did this work today to engage her brain but keep her body in rest mode.
I probably have hundreds of hours of video of dogs playing. I love to watch it, slow it down, back it up, look for subtle body language communication.
Holly, my helper dog, is just a wonderful friend to the puppies. I wish I could sit with you all and watch video together and talk about all the cool stuff going on in the videos. A mere 30 seconds is barely scratching the surface of the learning experience today!
Dogs are really good medicine.
(Please excuse my gross cough in the video!)
My teaching assistant, Holly, came to play! She always does a wonderful job showing the puppies that bigger dogs can be wonderful playmates.
Tunnel fun with George and Tenby at Puppy School this morning! ❤️
