Have a Golden day today! It’s national Golden Retriever day! These sporting dogs were bred to retrieve water fowl for hunters - hence their affinity for swimming and their soft gentle mouths. The golden retriever has been a popular family dog for ages and if you know one it’s easy to know why. If you know a Golden Retriever, show them so extra love today! 🌟💛

Hug your Greyhounds today cuz it’s their day! These speedy athletes are an ancient breed and are part of the hound group in a subclass known as sighthounds. They’re also very content simply lounging on your couch.

11/24 is National Border Collie Day! The border collie is a herding breed from Scotland. They are typically black and white but do come in other colors. They are intelligent workaholics and are know for not only herding just about anything, but for doing all kinds of jobs: from movies to search and rescue these smarty pants dogs are happiest with a task and demand a lot of activity. If you know a border collie give them some extra love!

October 27th is National Black Cat Day! These kitties are perfect spooky season mascots but aren’t scary at all when you get to know them. Do you know a black cat? Show them some extra love and tell them we know they’re not bad luck.
