Not only did we meet our goal, we have surpassed it almost $1000!! So many animals at @aps_of_durham are very thankful for this help! We hope to see you tomorrow having a great time at the event!

It’s the Doodle’s Day today! Doodle is the fun term for most any dog mixed with a poodle, and boy are there lots of them. Enjoy national doodle day with a dood you know and give them some extra lovin from all of us at CPAH.
Today is National Take a Walk in the park day!
Lucky for us the Triangle (and NC in general) is full of lovely parks; from small city parks to larger state parks and nature preserves, wherever you are you’re not too far from a reprieve in nature with your best friend.
Remember to always keep your pet on a leash when out and about and keep them up to date on appropriate vaccinations and preventatives.

One of the obvious perks of our jobs is plenty of puppy snuggles! We love being entrusted with your new babies and showing them that the vet isn’t such a scary place, we’ve got friends and snacks galore! Puppyhood is a special time and very important for the future of your dog; from vaccines and diet, to training and socialization, this phase of adorable clumsy squishy land shark builds the basis for a good healthy dog for years.

Today is National Brown Dog Day! For all those chocolatey good boys and girls out there, enjoy your special day of recognition.
You may notice some extra sparkle at colony park, we were visited by a fairy! Also our pups were master artists for the day.

July 31st is National Mutt Day! A mutt is just a name for a mixed breed dog, a dog with mystery history, a Heinz 57, a shelter special. Sometimes we are good at guessing what breeds went into a dog based on how they look but occasionally they stump us. Do you have a mutt at home? Share them with us and give them some extra love today.
July tenth is national kitten day and boy do we love it! Here’s some recent little bundles of cuteness and terror to celebrate with all the kittens out there!
