What is National Train Your Dog Month?

National Train Your Dog Month is an annual event that takes place every January. It is a time to remind pet owners of the importance of dog training and to encourage them to take part in it. The event was started by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) to help promote responsible pet ownership and to encourage pet owners to get involved in their pet’s life.

The event was created to help bring awareness to the importance of training. It is a great opportunity for pet owners to get involved and make a difference in their pet’s life. It is also a great way to bond with your pet and give them the best quality of life.

With the New Year comes January and our Employee Spotlight for January is Vikki!!

Vikki has been with us at SPAH for 8 years now. She’s got an electric personality and she loves to laugh and make others laugh too.

Vikki has been working in the animal care industry for 8 years. She has a gift when it comes to handling and caring for all animals.

Her favorite part about working at SPAH is the family atmosphere. She has developed wonderful relationships between our clients and their pets over the years. Vikki is very passionate about helping animals and knew at a young age that she would want a career working with animals.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her pets, Carmine, Akasha, Blackberry and Slim, pictured below with her. She also enjoys lifting weights, good eats and naps.
