Meet our May Employee Spotlight - Sarah Jo 🩷
Sarah Jo has been with SPAH for 10 years!! Such a dedicated and amazing asset to us!! She has been working in the animal care industry for 12 years. Sarah Jo enjoys her career because she loves helping those who can’t speak for themselves. She creates a Fear Free environment for our patients and a positive environment for the team she works with. She loves interacting and building relationships with our clients. She enjoys learning new things everyday because medicine and science are always changing. Sarah Jo knew as a little girl she wanted to work with animals as she used to perform surgery on her stuffed animals. She wanted to be that voice for animals to help them feel better, feel safe and loved.
Outside of work, Sarah Jo loves cooking for her loved ones. Little tidbit, she’s also a HUGE Disney Fan! She loves musicals and watching Disney movies whenever she can.
Sarah Jo and her husband share 3 fur babies between them. MJ their 10 year old black cat. Sebastian their 2 year old tabby cat. And, most recently adopted a 6 month old hound mix puppy named Sully.
