This Maine c**n cat is looking for a new home. If you are interested please call Four Paws Animal Clinic at 919-942-1788. Her name is Matilda, she weighs about 12 lbs, and is 4.5 years old. Her previous owner is no longer able to care for her due to health issues. She was an only cat so it is not known if she gets along with other cats.

The annual syposium at the North Carolina State University's Vet School is coming up, complete with both pet owner and veterinary tracks. This opportunity is available both in person and virtually, so if you aren't local you can still attend! Devin and I both attended the owner track for the inaugural symposium last year and it was fabulous! This year they are partnering with EveryCat Foundation and the focus is on feline pain. Did you know that the American
Association of Feline Practitioners has found almost all cats 10 and over have some form of degenerative joint disease but are not diagnosed? Ouch!

We had a great time at the show last weekend! And if our calculations are correct we'll be getting a notification from TICA that Turbo is now a Triple Grand Champion Alter! He's such a great cat and did wonderful against some very stiff competition.

Turbo is all ready to strut his stuff at the TICA Cat Show this weekend! It's at the NC Fairgrounds in Raleigh with judging from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days, February 17 & 18. We hope to see some friends there!

Mark your calendar! A Cat Fanciers Association cat show is coming to the fair grounds here in Raleigh! The show will be held on January 6th and 7th. Trilling Cat will be there with our own Turbo strutting his stuff for the judges!

National Therapy Animal Day is almost here! Trilling Cat is proud to have had several of our resident cats work as registered therapy cats. Many of our clients know Vivo who enjoys greeting them. And our newest addition, Turbo, is currently in training!

As those of you who know me are aware, I have osteoarthritis and struggled most of the summer. In an effort to stop the cycle I was in my doctors tried a slightly different protocol to get all my joints happy at the same time. Unfortunately I experienced unexpected side effects and was not able to groom for the entire month of November. I'm scheduled to be back next week, and will be in touch with those of you who have requested an appointment. I thank you for your continued patience as it will take several weeks for me to catch up. Vivo also misses seeing all of her friends. In the picture below she is applying heat and pressure to a very sore leg.

This sweet girl is looking for a new home. She is a one and one-half year old Bengal, spayed, and up to date on her rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Prior to going missing from her previous home the owner said she had been inappropriately urinating in the house. She has been using the litter box consistently since being found. She is very sweet tempered. Prospective owners must have knowledge and experience with Bengals. If you are interested in scheduling a meet and greet please call Piedmont Veterinary Clinic where she is current boarding at 919-732-2569. A small rehoming fee is required.
