This Maine c**n cat is looking for a new home. If you are interested please call Four Paws Animal Clinic at 919-942-1788. Her name is Matilda, she weighs about 12 lbs, and is 4.5 years old. Her previous owner is no longer able to care for her due to health issues. She was an only cat so it is not known if she gets along with other cats.

The annual syposium at the North Carolina State University's Vet School is coming up, complete with both pet owner and veterinary tracks. This opportunity is available both in person and virtually, so if you aren't local you can still attend! Devin and I both attended the owner track for the inaugural symposium last year and it was fabulous! This year they are partnering with EveryCat Foundation and the focus is on feline pain. Did you know that the American
Association of Feline Practitioners has found almost all cats 10 and over have some form of degenerative joint disease but are not diagnosed? Ouch!

We had a great time at the show last weekend! And if our calculations are correct we'll be getting a notification from TICA that Turbo is now a Triple Grand Champion Alter! He's such a great cat and did wonderful against some very stiff competition.

Turbo is all ready to strut his stuff at the TICA Cat Show this weekend! It's at the NC Fairgrounds in Raleigh with judging from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days, February 17 & 18. We hope to see some friends there!
