Bugsy, you were 13. My heart is shattered. You were loved.
We went to the vet on Monday to address his coughing that he was doing so well managing, only to get an xray and see a large mass on his lung. 3 days later he was gone. Last night was so hard, but I am so thankful I was with him the whole time. 💔 Hug your furbabies and tell them you love them.

Paw prints left by you.

You no longer greet me, as I walk through the door. You’re not there to make me smile, to make me laugh at how excited you are to see me. Life seems already too quiet without you. You were far more than a pet. You were a family member, a best friend…. A loving soul I’ll never forget.

I will take the time to heal. For the silence to go away. I will look for you, I will still wait for you and I will listen for you. I will miss you every day. You were such a great companion, constant, loyal and my true north star.

My heart will always wear, the paw prints left by you.
