Another big load of capes and skins went down to tannery.it has been another great year and alot of work trying to keep up with the intake. We will be having to make another run to the tannery the end of January after getting the remaining pile of animals caped,turned,fleshed and salted.

This bull had an absolutely gorgeous cape and was a pleasure to get to put together. Hes got Plenty of tine length to go around. We built the base and with a little habitat and the rock backer made this a great centerpiece for a room. Elk is removable from base and antlers are detachable making the moving process and install a breeze for 1 person, the elk also spins 360 degrees allowing you multiple ways to position the mount in the room or along the wall. Congrats again to the hunter on such a beautiful animal and thank you again for the opportunity.

After taking in animals the last 3months and hearing everyone elses stories we finally are getting ready for our season. November 10th can't come soon enough. We are looking forward to taking a break from the shop and chasing rutting bucks for 10days in the NE corner.

It's been a crazy week of animal intakes from all over, there has been a ton of success this year and the stories we get to hear are amazing and terrifying at the same time. We look forward to the rest of the season and the stories to follow. Heres a beautiful ram brought in today that had an amazing hyde, looking forward to putting this ram together.

Fun way to start the week and a first for me. Had a scapel blade break while dealing with an elk, blade broke and I managed to shove the remaining piece down my thumb, the blade was new so absolutely no resistance, knew exactly what happened and applied pressure, wrapped it and now 6 stitches later and a new glove its back to the grind of caping and fleshing today.

We took part of the summer off from work and social media, we have made some more shop adjustments. What we are taking in will vary and we ask you call before dropping off.(mainly no more ruggung)all euro work will be going south to plateau beetles and bones this year and our bird intake will be limited this year aswell with the adjustment of a newborn in the shop. all other Big game,bird Mounts are steadily leaving as we deal with all the fresh intakes. We look forward to this year and Good luck to all hunter this 2024/25 season.

It's that time if year again and the bears are coming in from the surrounding states at a staggering rate. We are doing our best to stay on top of the work load, Its great to see the success and hear the stories but unfortunately we wont get to see or hear them all as We will be limiting our overall intake again this year for bears.

Fresh Yukon showing up, it is truly amazing the sheer size and power a moose has, and to pack this weight around daily is incredible. I believe what is the most amazing about giant big game is knowing they drop and regrow these every year in a relatively short period of time.

Every now and then a non typical bird pops up in the rotation to be done, we do about 30 hybrids/non typical birds a year. This mallard has some beautiful color variations and is going to look incredible on the lucky hunters wall.

Gonna end the year with a stud blacktail intake last night and gorgeous pair of rams from idaho this afternoon. We hope everyone has a happy and safe new years!!! Shop will be closed tomorrow and will be backb in full swing Tuesday.
