Let's talk about dental disease: Dental disease isn’t just about bad breath. It can lead to heart disease, kidney problems, and painful infections. Up to 70% of cats and 80% of dogs have some level of periodontal disease by age 2. In the photos below you can see a recent case where our Dr. Martin cleaned the teeth, but unfortunately she was not able to save many. This was due to severe periodontal disease found with dental radiographs that showed bone loss and infected pockets (abscess) at the roots of the teeth. In order to avoid problems like this, regular dental care is key!

It is heartwarming to see Zdeno giving our Dr. Shepard such a big hug!
We will pause our availability for giving hugs for a little moment due to the holiday. Our practice will be closing early on Tuesday 12/31 at 2pm and will be closed on Wednesday 1/1 for New Year’s Day.
The good news: We will be back for hugs and more on Thursday 1/2!
Make sure to pick up your pet’s food and medication ahead of time and enjoy your holiday!

Our practice will be closing early on Tuesday 12/24 at 2pm and will be closed on Wednesday 12/25 for Christmas Day. We will be open for business on Thursday 12/26.

Don't forget to pick up your pets medication and food ahead of time, and enjoy your holiday!
