It is the day after Thanksgiving (12/28) and Duxbury Animal Hospital is open again.
Nicholas was very attentive during his last visit here and so are we for anyone needing our help. We are open during our regular Friday hours today from 8:00am - 5:00pm.

11/26 - Closing at 2pm
11/27 - CLOSED
11/28 - Normal Operating Hours (Friday: 8am - 5pm)

Please call us ahead of time for any medication or food that you need prior to 11/26, 2pm.
Our wonderful team will be closing the doors at 2pm on 11/26 to spend some well-deserved quality time with their loved ones.

This is a photo of Walter when he was just 12 weeks old back in June. Given that it is Thanksgiving week, we have a feeling that many of our furry friends will have a similar look on their face when they are trying really heard to convince us to share our Thanksgiving food with them. As much as we want to share (it is hard to resist a cutie face like that), we should be cautious of what we're handing them. Did you know that some dog breeds are more cold-tolerant than others? ❄️Cold-loving breeds like the Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, and Bernese Mountain Dog. Their thick coats and endurance make them winter warriors! On the flip side, breeds like Chihuahuas, Greyhounds, and Italian Greyhounds have less natural insulation against the cold. Keep them snug and warm during chilly days.
