We are ready for winter to be gone and spring to be here so we can get out with our dog treats and be out with all the other amazing vendors and customers.

A couple things for you to know

Mom has scheduled a vendor market event for April 12 at Helping Hands for Paws in The Park. On that day mom will have some baskets for raffle drawing. All proceeds from the sale of the raffle tickets will go to Helping Hands to help them with my furry friends.

Mom also scheduled a vendor event for June 14 which will be Doggie Date Night.

We will have some new treats coming out in the next month and a few surprises at the vendor events.

We Are Out of Options.
Today, 40 animals arrived at our shelter. Despite finding homes for over 15 dogs, we still have 0 dog kennels available. We are working tirelessly, but the truth is—we are exhausted. Every day feels like we’re taking one step forward and two steps back.

We don’t want to give up. But if intake continues at this pace, we will be forced to make heartbreaking decisions—ones none of us want to make.

To be transparent:

Please don’t bring us animals unless they are injured or sick.

If your pet is here or you think someone’s pet is here, reach out now. We’ll do everything we can to reunite families.

Here’s how you can help:

Adopt! Dogs are $0 to adopt through December 23rd. Adopt a shelter pet through programs like foster-to-adopt. Give a dog a chance to thrive in your home while deciding if they’re the right fit.

Foster through our slumber party program. Even a few days or weeks of fostering can make space for incoming animals.

Volunteer your time to walk dogs, clean kennels, doing laundry, or giving enrichment to the animals. Every little bit helps.

Spread the word—every share makes a difference.

We don’t want to give up hope. But we can’t do this alone. Please, step up however you can. And thank you to all of those who have gone above and beyond in helping us when we need it the most.
