Since I was a child, my love for animals has been boundless. Following my passion, I pursued a career in veterinary nursing and obtained an associates degree in animal science in 2022. Along my professional journey, I've had the opportunity to work in various settings, including grooming salons, a baboon sanctuary, animal hospitals, and kennel departments. Since obtaining my degree, I have been se
arching for a place that felt right. As I delved further into the field of veterinary medicine, I became exposed to instances of malpractice occurring behind the scenes. I was previously unaware of the extent of negligence that some practices tolerated, prioritizing the completion of tasks over providing optimal care. This mindset of "settling for mediocrity" based on the patients' behavior deeply troubled me. I found it disheartening that alternative options, such as rescheduling the patient for another day or granting the patient a much-needed break, were not explored. It became evident that certain establishments placed greater value on the financial interests of their clients rather than the overall well-being of the animals in their care. Consequently, I made the difficult decision to distance myself from veterinary medicine and embark on the journey of establishing my own business. The well-being and safety of the animals I work with always come first and foremost. If I notice that an animal is experiencing an excessive level of stress during the provision of services, I'm open to exploring alternative options that best suit their needs. It brings me immense satisfaction to know that I'm the one responsible for providing them with exceptional care and going the extra mile. Although it was tough to veer away from a field I dedicated so much time and effort to, I simply couldn't bring myself to work in environments where money is prioritized over the genuine care of the animals. I am genuinely excited to build a strong connection with dog owners and their furry friends, providing them with the utmost care they deserve.
