This is Birdee! She is the epitome of a "one person dog" when I first groomed her, it took over an hour for me to even approach her! I had to create a fake arm by taping a glove on the end of a lacrosse rachet. She has come so far, although she still prefers her mom to anyone else on the planet, she does very well with her grooming now!! Good girl Birdee 💜

Most of you know, some of you don't. We have had a lot of building repairs in the last few months that were not covered by insurance. We also have a roof that has been patched several times, but is still leaking in SEVERAL spots and needs to be replaced, also not covered by our insurance.

A lot of us DG/Union alumni should remember the ceiling tiles that were painted through the years...always a point of interest!!! We are going to try to bring those feelings back!!

We are offering a unique advertising opportunity for businesses...we are going to sell the ceiling tiles in our bar area. Each spot will be $100...and will stay up as long as Harper's is open!! I have made a couple of them already...they will be hand-painted by me, so they will not be perfect, but I will do my best!!

We also want to offer tiles to families, if they feel so inclined to buy one!! We would even let the families take them home and paint them themselves!! Businesses can also do this!!

ALL of the money raised from these tiles will go towards the repairs we have had to do!!! We will be also having a 50/50 raffle at our street dance on July 6th!!

Please do not feel pressured...but know that we have a lot of people come through our doors...and we hope for our ceiling to become something that people talk about!! And what better way is there to help out neighboring other businesses and families!!
