This llama fiber is a dream to spin! It comes from our girl, Pandora! The color is a beautiful reddish brown. And so very soft to the touch, it will make absolutely gorgeous yarn for knitting or crocheting--any crafting project you may have. Staple is approximately 7-8" long.

This bag contains 1 lb of fiber. Fiber has been tumbled and skirted so there is very little vegetable matter. It has not been washed.

Llama Fiber is an excellent choice for your knitting or crocheting project! It has a natural softness, yet is stronger than wool. It maintains it's shape and doesn't pill or matt.

It is naturally hypoallergenic and provides superior insulation and moisture regulation. It is also flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.

Another great quality is that llama fiber is stain and odor resistant!

Well, where did the summer go? Here’s hoping you all had a wonderful time.
Temperatures are starting to cool off and before you know it, winter will be here. Now it’s time to think about keeping your llamas and alpacas comfy and cozy in chilly weather. Your young and older animals are especially vulnerable when it gets very cold.
Our insulated coats are guaranteed to keep your animals toasty warm. Coats come in eight sizes from newborn alpaca to large adult llama and are made right here at Freedom Acres Llama in the USA. Outer layer is made with 600 water proof denier. Inner layer is made with soft, warm polar fleece. Coats are double stitched using strong, weather proof thread. Strong Velcro on both the belly flap and chest flap ensure a snug fit and the adjustable strapping and heavy duty buckles make sure the coat stays put and does not shift.
The coats are easy to put on and take off and will last for many years. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle and hang to dry.

We've added sheep wool rugs to our line of hand woven rugs and are excited to show you this beautiful Jacob sheep wool pouf rug!

The rug is created from one sheep's wool which has black and white spots and we've taken the beautiful strands and made it into a random, almost striped rug that measures 26" wide and 36" long. 2" tassels accent each end of the rug. This rug has a very soft, poufy look and is absolutely gorgeous!

The wool has been washed so there is no sticky lanolin feel....only soft, fluffy wool that feels and looks remarkably soft. The ends of the rows have poufy wooly ends to make it look even softer.

This denim ball is made up of cut, repurposed denim. Can be used for loomed or woven rugs, craft items, etc.

This ball weighs 1 1/4 lb. Average strip width is 3/4 - 1" wide.

This ball is approximately 75 yards long and will make a 25" wide x 33" long rug.

We've used varied lengths and mixed blue denims to make this ball. Strips are machine sewn.

We are happy to do custom orders, so if you need balled strips of a special color, we will do our best to make it for you. We also make loomed rugs so check out our listings. We can custom create a rug for you also.
