Congratulations to Rebekah, Pippa and Georgia on a fun and successful WTHJA schooling show last weekend. It was so much fun getting the new horse and rider pairs into the show ring. Georgia helped teach our youngest rider the ropes, and made me very proud. Looking forward to more fun shows with this sweet crew 💕🌟🌟🌟🦄🦄

“While I have seen a round or two that stood out to me, I don’t feel that in my time as a judge I have necessarily seen the type of blockbuster round for which you are seeking feedback. That being said, I have seen rounds I’ve felt were exciting for a number of other reasons: I have gotten goosebumps watching an athletic, green horse measure a jump and use itself well; watching a talented pro make a gorgeous, well-balanced inside turn; and even watching a short stirrup rider put all the parts of a course together to create an excellent round in that division. Each opportunity to sit in the judge’s stand is a privilege. In time, I hope to be lucky enough to have the honor of watching rounds that will go down in history. Ashley is a USEF R Judge , and has judged all over the southeast including National Hunter Derbies & IEA.

Riders will be split into
-Hunters
-Jumpers
-Equitation

To learn the rules, presentation & scores in each arena.

Auditors are welcome and encouraged,
as they will definitely want to bring a pen and paper take notes, take videos,
everybody will learn something from this clinic for sure,
especially the parents of riders who want to better understand their child’s sport !

May was a whirlwind! Our crew had an amazing time in Germantown. Fun shows, incredible horses, great trips, celebrations, snacks, naps and the best two weeks with our awesome group. We had so much fun at the WTHJA shows in Germantown earlier this month! We started with the schooling show where Tracey and Nixon were stars! Next we did the rated shows for two weeks. Lots of good ribbons, lots of great company, and so many happy memories (and brownies)!!! Showing is the most fun when we can share it with awesome people and horses (and one very special dog)! Y’all are the best and you make me so proud 🥰

Last month our fun group had a great last show of the year at the Memphis Charity in Germantown. Lots of beautiful rounds and great ribbons! Meghan and Scarlett worked hard and we all had fun (powered by Meghan’s delicious brownies)😃. Chaba, Sofia, Vivian and Katy are rockstars and make the best partners and friends ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We’ve been having fun in Germantown! First at the WTHJA schooling show, then last week at Harvest Time! Loving our horses so much I forgot to get more photos, but I think these of some of our happy horses and riders are gold. Shout out to Smooch who was great at the schooling show and got all the pats and love 💕 (but missed a photo 🤦‍♀️).

Our crew had so much fun at Brownland! Meghan and Chaba won a class in the 3’3” A/O’s plus other good ribbons. Meghan and Sofia swept the low adult jumper division on their way to champion! 💙💙💙🏆 🦄🏎️Congratulations!!!😃🌟👏👏👏

I had a great time with some awesome horses at Brownland last week. It was fun being in the jumper ring with Sofia! She jumped clean and fast, earning champion (🥇speed class). Vivian and Chaba were good and ribboned in the hunters and we all enjoyed being back at Brownland Farm. Thank you to their wonderful owners for sharing these special horses with me 🥰.

April was a fun and exciting month with this pair who truly exemplifies versatility. Meghan and Sofia showed in the jumpers at Springtime in Dixie, hunters and a derby at Springtime Encore, and the next weekend they dressed in costume and spent the afternoon on campus at the Rhodes College Renaissance Faire. Thanks for always keeping it interesting!😃🌟
