Quiz time: who thinks their dog would eat them? I thought the explanation of them trying to wake you up by licking your nose... then biting your nose... then eating your nose makes sense. I want to believe I would not be eaten.

Oh boy, this pic was taken while setting up at an Agility Trial in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Let us know if you find the snake in the pic? I nearly stepped on it and boy, hiking with your dogs in the mountains is no joke. Many dog clubs offer rattlesnake training. Four Paws is a LOOONNNGGG way from our Minnesota roots!

Sully did great today at Woofstock so she got herself a yummy moose antler... always a hit for Sully. Check out how wide she opens up to chew on the antler. This is why moose antlers are so good at cleaning dog’s teeth!

A van with 15 show dogs was stolen from the parking lot of an In n Out Burger in Redding, CA on their way to Woofstock. Luckily, every dog was found safe and sound in the van and when they announced the safe recovery, the entire fairgrounds erupted in applause and cheers. Dogs have a way of bribing out humanity in everyone this is a great ending to a scary story.

A van carrying 14 rat terriers, golden Labs, Rottweilers and other show dogs taken Wednesday from outside an In-N-Out Burger in Redding, California, has been found, police say. The owner had offered a $30,000 reward.

My daughter is in the Himalayan nation of Bhutan and look at the pic she posted... those big blocks are Himalayan cheese that becomes the Himalayan dog chews we sell at our booth. Pretty spectacular to see them in their original state, don’t you think? We have a lot of new Himalayan treats coming to our booth soon so watch for announcements.

Velma loved her camel with apricots and Greek yogurt training treats. Even when we tried to trick her with a blind sniff test of blue berries and rabbit, she kept going back to camel. Girl likes her camel, what can she say?

Silvina Bruera found out you can’t just get one moose antler. After stopping by to try an antler, she came back to get two more, one for each dog, including one for Maja, shown here enjoying her new antler. Maja is 14 years, 7 months old and her teeth are worn down but since moose antlers soften as dogs chew them, she has taken to her new antler with great gusto!

We have a monitor today during the Agility Trials in Santa Rosa. Yes, that big owl is real. One of the competitors today told us that owls can see red, the color of blood, so it may be attracted to our booth. If so, he is welcome to stay because he brings everyone over to marvel at his beauty. (Dog owners beware, they can make off with some of the smaller breeds!)
