We recommend using a monthly tick prevention like Frontline, Nexgard, or the new Nexgard Plus to protect your dog. This tip helps decrease your exposure to ticks as they may be carried in on your pet and crawl onto you. Keep in mind it may work better for dogs with short, coarse hair, and it could pull the hair, so watch for signs of discomfort from your dog.
