cipants to the Lakota Horse culture through Equine Facilitated Learning Exercises, groundwork, grooming and care, riding instruction, and Lakota Horse Culture instruction and history. The Equine Facilitated Wellness Program: This program to seeks to collaborate with local tribal leadership in utilizing Equine Facilitated Learning as part of a comprehensive recovery program. The Center for Equine Meditation: This program is geared toward non-tribal members living outside of the reservation to engage in Equine Facilitated Learning and Lakota Horse Culture instruction and history.

Friday Funny… it’s been a hot 🥵 week

Wow! Ending the week with a splash and slime! 83 kids and so much fun! We are so grateful for our many partners making all this possible this week! Pilamaya to CR Youth Diabetes Prevention Program who came and had the kids do a healthy walk and receive a new pair of crocs, not to mention the delicious watermelon! To the Indian Child Welfare office who helped with food, to St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Cupertino, CA, and Next Step Ministries teams from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Kentucky who helped staff camp! What an amazing group of dedicated people! Not to mention all of our regular staff! So much goes into every minute of camp and what a joyfilled outcome! 🥳
