Thought I would share an update on Heidi girl as she is the mama to many of the sweet Golden Light Puppies out there. Heidi has been retired for 2 years now & is living her best life with our family. She is still acts like a puppy when she plays & is a true retriever at heart. She loves to carry her stuffed animals around & will proudly bring one to you as a “gift” when you walk in the door. We love her to pieces & it is so fun to see all her sweet babies out there bringing love & joy to their families❤️!

Last night the girls, Skadi & I took Belle to PDX to meet her new mama who flew her home with her to Alaska! She has been the sweetest puppy so goodbye was tough but they have sent several updates already & I am thankful to hear she is settling in well!
Her mama said: “She is eating/drinking/pottying no issues. She kept her kennel dry traveling and lets us know when she needs out. Definitely independent like you said. She follows me around everywhere yet plays happily with her toys. I ❤️ my sweet little girl!”.
Thank you to the Eling family for giving her such a wonderful home. Excited to see Belle’s adventures in Alaska!

Maui has gone home with his forever family. From the first time they visited I could tell Maui had a special connection with his girl. He wanted to curl up on her lap & cuddle the whole time when they would visit. It is always special when a pup “chooses” their person & I could tell he had❤️.

Flynn now “Stanley” went to his new home yesterday morning. He has always been a very outgoing & goofy boy who loves to play & explore. Having two girls to play with all the time is so perfect for him! They said he has already found the coolest part of the house to nap & is settling in really well. Thank you guys for giving him such a wonderful home, I can tell he is very loved💕.

Stella’s puppies had their vet appointment on Friday & all passed their health exams. It was such a fun day & the puppies definitely got a warm welcome❤️. Mt Hood Pet Medical does an wonderful job of making the visit a very positive experience for the puppies which is so important to help build their confidence. Thank you too everyone there for giving the puppies so much love in addition to excellent medical care!

Bed Time

This was taken last night after the puppies got to play out in the sunshine for a few hours. Everyone was very sleepy afterwards. For families with a puppy reserved I did say who is who in the video so you can see your little ones❤️.

The puppies are having some fun playtime with my adult girls. I want them to have as many positive interactions with big dogs as possible before they go home!

The puppies have grown up so much this past week! They are doing excellent with their potty training & eating soft food now❤️.

Pupdate! A couple pups have their eyes open😍. They are doing excellent with their ENS exercises & starting to crawl. We will be getting new pictures in a few days when everyone’s eyes have opened❤️.

Night Time Puppy Checkups

Every morning & night we check each puppy to make sure they are gaining weight, feeling good & most importantly getting enough kisses for the day. Ellie & Skadi supervised everything to make sure their nieces & nephews were handled with care😉.
