I started as a bather just out of high school, learning the ropes from a good friend who ran a grooming shop out of her home, and I fell in love with the concept of grooming dogs. While there weren't any schools around then, I was lucky enough to have several amazing mentors, including the owner of the shop I'm leaving, who passed away in 2011. I've been grooming for 20 years, and it still makes m

e happy when a dog who came in nervous turns around to say goodbye after their spa day with me. I love my clients and their pups, who have become like family. My husband and I live on a small farm, and he is amazing at building things. He built my new shop and has supported me, even when I was afraid to walk away from what's familiar. I'm excited about this new business venture and look forward to making many more friends, human and furry alike.

I get a kick out of these happy hoodies. I think the dogos look so cute wearing them. Sometimes the high velocity dryer noise is too much, especially for older dogs, so these soft, cozy hoodies muffle the sound and keep them calm. 🥰

She started coming to me after getting mistreated by another groomer. The hair on her feet is still growing back from it but she is super sweet and easy to groom. I wanted to take a minute and appreciate our elderly friends. Teddy is shaking in this video because of his age. He gets lots of breaks and snuggles during his groom session to make sure he is as comfortable as possible. Their safety is the most important thing. ♥️
