✨This week was a special one✨

We had the honor of watching a plaque go up in Dr. Vaden’s name. His dedication, hard-work, and loyalty not only to his clients but his staff as well has not gone unnoticed. Border Equine 🐴 would truly not be here if it weren’t for him. Thank you Dr. Vaden for all you do🙂

Planning a trip?

Here’s Dr. Vaden, assisted by his vet tech Isaac, doing his routine health exams, drawing blood for EIA (coggins), and microchips for horses traveling to Mexico. These exam are necessary in order to obtain International Health Certificates from the USDA.

Mr. Steal came in for his suture removal/recheck and he is healing beautifully as Dr. Vaden would say. Shout out to the amazing team who helped out on his road to recovery 🐴

‼️WARNING‼️

We have a gnarly one for you today😳!!

Steal Trap 🐴 came in for a laceration over the left eye and forehead. Upon doing their exam both Dr. Vaden and Melero discovered that he in fact had broken part of his orbit. With some assistance of HEAVY sedation 🤣 he was able to walk out of here with a brand new face!!

This week Dr. Vaden along with staff got to work with our Border Patrol Horse Patrol🐎 for their annual floats, coggins testing (EIA) , and vaccines💉! While also using this time to teach some of our techs better techniques on drawing blood and vaccinating horses!
