Well that’s a wrap and I’m just getting around to this. THANK YOU to everyone that supported me while I put on my first horse show. And thank you to all who participated in the 25th Annual Eagle River Horseshow. Just happens it was held in Conover….but after 25 years I couldn’t let the name just change😂.

Thank you to Deerpath Stables for making your farm available and helping with the set up and take down, Courtney Fromm for judging, Ellyn Reese for announcing…you did a wonderful job! Thank you to the Conover Ambulance and Fire for providing food! Thank you Steph, Jess and Ella at the gate, it was like having the whole crew back again❤️.

Thank you LeAnn and Maya for keeping our own barn rolling and all of my parents and students who worked hard until the last horse was put away on Sunday night and all the cleaning up was done.

We really do have a great horse community up here in the Northwoods where even competing barns come together at the end. I can’t thank everyone enough.

🐠”Goldfish” 🐠 2019, BLM Mustang gelding. 14.2. Born in April of 2019 and captured from the Triple B HMA in Nevada in September of 2019.

Due to a move and changing life circumstances his owner is no longer to keep him. (Although I’d LOVE to add him to my Phish themed collection of bay mustangs, he’s not yet school horse material). He’s kind and has a lot of try, green broke and ready for someone with some experience to finish him up.

These seminars will start at 6:00 PM with a presentation for approximately 45 minutes and question and answer to follow.

Friday, Feb 2 - Introduction to Nutrition: Bridging Biology and Feeding

Friday, Feb 23 - Body Condition Score (BCS): The how and why of knowing your horse’s BCS.

Friday, March 8 - Interpreting My Feed Tag: Do I really know what I’m feeding my horse?

The cost of the seminars will be $40 per evening or $100 if paid in advance for all three sessions.

30% of the profits will go to the Landover Saddle Club for improvements at the Conover riding trails. Hope to see you there! Please bring a chair and a clipboard and pen if you wish to take notes!!

Project is finally done and our ponies are enjoying a lazy, warm, sunny December day! Thank you everyone (neighbors included) for putting up with the loud machinery, dump trucks, constant beeping and basic disruption of our peaceful barn life. All is back in order….and better than it was!❤️🐴
