Ivy has the BEST eyes! Love seeing this girl during her grooms! To keep up on her groom she comes in about every 6 weeks to keep up on removing her undercoat and a nice trim. She loves feeling pretty during and after her visits. ❤️

Lets talk BRUSHES!

You brush your hair every day, right? OK...

Your dog deserves the best grooming in the salon AND at home! You should be line brushing your dog every day. First with a slicker brush head to toe and a comb to follow. Combs never lie - if you can't get it through the coat then it is not fully brushed. To make brushing a breeze use Ultra Dematting Finishing Spray by Hydra.
My favorite brushes to recommend are Chris Christensen Big G Coral Slicker, Gem Grooming Big Fluff Slickers, and Greyhound Comb.

Interested in creative color?!? 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

I use safe Opawz or Crazy Liberty Color. Dogs get groomed every 4-8 weeks their whole lives and the majority of them love the attention. Good groomers will always choose humanity over vanity. Not every dog is a good fit for color, but we love to have fun with that ones that are.

Hey Idaho Dog Lovers! My name is Maddy and I just wanted to introduce myself for the first time on my grooming page! Heres a few things about me.

▪️You could call me the nap queen, but I love to venture around Boise and other local mountain hideaways. I'm always down for a nature hike and hidden hot springs

Why do I love dogs? Here's my WHY

It all started with my dad. We grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer named Cue and she stole our hearts. She was the best bird dog and we couldn't have loved anything else more in our childhood. I have grown up around several different breads of dogs and just slowly realized that one day my calling would be to work and care for dogs.

After high school, I got a my first job working with dogs at a doggie daycare and it was AWESOME! It was the perfect start to working with all different kinds of dogs and learning their behavior and needs to manage a safe and fun environment. This included learning basic baths and nail trimmings. I worked in the doggie daycare industry for 7 years and slowly helped open the door to dog grooming.

About 2 years ago, I had the courage to grow in the industry and took a shot at dog grooming. My training included a hands-on grooming academy course. This course helped teach me all the ins and outs of grooming and extensive safety precautions for both me and the dogs. I can't wait to share all that I know, have learned, and will continue to learn with you all!
