As the premier lavender festival in the Treasure Valley we welcome approximately 3000 guests from diverse backgrounds. It’s national pizza day! We all love a good pie and we have just the thing to make the perfect sourdough crust! Our dehydrated sourdough starter is made from an active 200 year old starter that made its journey out west on the Oregon Trail!
If pizza isn’t your thing you can always make a perfect loaf of sourdough to go with some of Wendy’s yummy jams!
There are only four jars of this amazing starter, available in our shop or online starting Friday! Barn Shop hours are 10-2!

Penny would like to remind you that the ONLY place to get tickets for our festival July 5 and 6, 2025, is in our shop during normal farm hours. Online tickets sales will open soon ONLY at our website redchairlavender.com.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM THIRD PARTIES!!!!
As we get closer to festival there will be lots of folks who will try to scam you out of your hard earned money by trying to get you to purchase fraudulent tickets. We remain diligent in deleting and blocking those that comment or try to create fake accounts.
Make sure you don’t fall victim by only purchasing through us!

I know it’s still January but we wanted to give you a little peek of our brand new music line up for festival this year!
EllieMae is an incredibly talented Idaho girl. She has shared the stage with big names in country including Scotty McCreery, Lainey Wilson, Koe Wetzel, Sam Riggs and Ian Munsick to name just a few. We are so excited to feature her beautiful voice on our MainStage at festival this year! Sunday July 6th is for all things country so put on your boots and get ready for a really great time! We are hard at work, getting ready for our 11th annual harvest festival! To make it the very best ever, we are wanting your help. Sponsors, vendors and volunteers are the perfect compliment to all things lavender. With an average of 2500 guests per day it is also a great way to introduce your business to folks that live, play and work in the Treasure Valley.

When you are thinking about your summer garden plans adding a few of these will help repel those pesky summer pests.
We are partial to lavender but we also have all these growing on the property.
I’m always amazed when I head out for evening shoots in the lavender that the only thing flying around the plants in the evening are our beautiful honey bees and bumblebees. 🐝
Red Chairs flea and tick spray for dogs also makes a great all natural insect repellent for humans as well. As always made with our lavender!

Taking down the Christmas tree is always sad for me but it’s a little less sad knowing that soon I will have some beautiful smelling, all natural cleaner for my house! Mixing lavender hydrosol from Red Chair, pine from my tree, vinegar and lemon essential oil, it will be ready just in time for spring cleaning!
You can still pick up hydrosol in the shop if you want to create your very own.
Lavender is an antibacterial, antifungal and smells so good.
Pine is a terrific disinfectant and grease cutter.
Lemon kills bacteria, can remove mold and mildew and can cut through grease.
Nature is pretty neat and having a non toxic alternative is a great way to start your cleaning routine for the new year!
