What a special pair!! Hailey and her 3 year old mare Elli. They have started to "close up the box" creating straightness while keeping suppleness and energy. This has been a successful, classical start so far for miss Elli.
My Ocki girlπ₯°π₯°. Just a handful of rides but loving every second of getting to know her. ππ
So very proud of these two today. Caroline rode her 4 year old, Shake and Bake WGF, in their first dressage test. These two had never even seen this arena before warmup. π€©π€©
So proud of these two. After a handful of rides she is trotting around this giant arena. Hailey and and her beautiful 3 year old Elli are just amazing.!!!

This beautiful 3 year old girl Elli, is growing up!!! She is relaxed and stretching towards the bit. Next step, relaxation and stretch under saddle.
As with all the horses I start training, Ocki is learning the basics on the lunge line. I have to have the understanding and connection with the horse before I get on. I need as many tools in my belt especially with young horses. Although this takes more time I feel it is more successful and solidifies the horse/rider connection. Ocki is intelligent and sweet but with enough spice to keep me on my toes. I love this mare.
Ocki finally got to be in her pasture!!
Can you believe this weather?!! DD came to Kathy's for a field trip today. A little exercise, bath, and lots of rolling. The cutest part was watching her and her BBF Clara snuggle over the fence for over and hour. The most exciting part, no coughing or wheezing during her workout. I will slowly get her back into shape and hopefully we have a handle on her COPD.
Our championship ride. So proud of this little 5 year old mare.
DD had a great first day at regionals. I rode a conservative test for a 69% and first place. One more practice test today before our championship test on Saturday!
I couldn't more proud of Caroline and her 3 year old Shicago WGF (Clara). I am so blessed to have these two in my program.
This 4 year old is coming along. He has been a tough one and is proof that you have to adjust your training to fit each horse.
This pair is such a joy to teach. Miss Clara may even make it into the show ring before she has the winter off. π€©π€©
DD and I are getting excited to head to Pocatello for a show at C & M Farms this weekend. Always a fun show!
Today it was Allie's turn to ride her youngster. So proud of these two.
What lovely pair. Love teaching Caroline on her 3 year old filly.
Mr. Remi acted like a seasoned pro going through cavalettis for the first time.
Forward, stretching neck with nose seeking the bridle.πͺπͺπͺThe beginning of changing him to have a long neck and short body. Not a short neck long body. I can't wait to feel it under saddle tomorrow.
