Jamboree Dressage

Jamboree Dressage specializes in dressage horse training, sales, and lessons. Jamboree Dressage is based out of Star, Idaho.

I have experience training from ground work to Grand Prix. I have also competed in dressage from 4 year olds to Grand Prix. I have experience with taking your "non traditional" dressage horse and helping them move straight and balanced following classical dressage. I focus on a positive training plan to ensure success for the rider and horse. My main focus is in dressage but I strongly believe ev

ery horse needs cross training. In my training program the horses are started with correct contact and balance in the arena but I also incorporate jumping and trail riding. This ensures a healthy horse both mentally and physically.

DD and I went for a jump lesson today with Ryan Goss at Sunset Stables Stables. Thank you Nika Lepak for setting this up. And thank you Regan for the videos. So much fun!! This was the first time we have done more than a single cross rail. I am loving cross training with this girl. Ocki is next.

What a great experience this weekend. Everyone got to see just how expressive DD can be at the Amelia Newcomb symposium put on by Idaho Dressage and Eventing Association. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event happen. Great new exercises to master this winter!! And not just thousands of canter walk transitions but millions!

Our newest member of Jamboree Dressage arrived late last night from Washington. A very warm welcome to Tim Roden and his lovely boy Guinness. Jamboree Dressage is full for boarding but I will have a training stall opening up in December if anyone is looking for short term board and train.

What an inspiring 3 days riding with Mette Rosencrantz. In the canter DD started with this amazing feeling of strength and correctness. Mette saw exactly what I was feeling. It was magical and exactly why I LOVE this sport. I so love this little spicy mare who tries her heart out for me everyday. She earned a trail ride and some jump days after her couple days off.

Thank you Robin Cathey for bringing Mette to Eagle and for inviting me to ride in the clinic. Thank you Adrienne Peck Baisch for opening up your beautiful facility. What a warm, welcoming barn you have created. I am already excited for more clinics and next show season!

What a special pair!! Hailey and her 3 year old mare Elli. They have started to "close up the box" creating straightness while keeping suppleness and energy. This has been a successful, classical start so far for miss Elli.

This beautiful 3 year old girl Elli, is growing up!!! She is relaxed and stretching towards the bit. Next step, relaxation and stretch under saddle.

As with all the horses I start training, Ocki is learning the basics on the lunge line. I have to have the understanding and connection with the horse before I get on. I need as many tools in my belt especially with young horses. Although this takes more time I feel it is more successful and solidifies the horse/rider connection. Ocki is intelligent and sweet but with enough spice to keep me on my toes. I love this mare.
