⭐️ How is this cute kitten with such a personality still available?

Toulouse, is a 14 week old the fearless little adventurer! As the runt of the litter, she's small but mighty. This super sweet kitten loves all the kisses and has a chatty side, often talking back to her foster mom. Toulouse is totally crazy with no fear, flying all over the house and climbing the highest cat tree just to leap off like a flying squirrel. When she's hungry, she'll scream in your face until she's fed. If you're looking for a lively and demanding little ball of energy, Toulouse is your girl!

She’s had her first vaccines been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

Toulouse is a ‘Foster to Adopt' kitty which simply means she hasn’t been spayed yet, but you can still take her home and love on her until she’s ready to be spayed in a few more weeks. She's scheduled to be spayed on 9/17/24. After she gets spayed, she’ll be yours to keep, and the adoption will be complete.

Because she is so young, Toulouse should go to a home that has another friendly cat/kitten or better yet, adopt her with one of her siblings. Kittens need a lot of attention and do best in homes with cat/kitten companions so preference will be given to homes that provide that.

At 16 weeks old, Marcus is an outgoing and fun-loving kitten. He's always the first to explore new toys and environments, and his playful antics will keep you entertained for hours. When he's not on an adventure, Marcus enjoys cuddling up for some well-deserved snuggles.

He’s had his first vaccines, been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

⭐️ Do you love tabby cats, lasers and naps? Then Shelby is your girl!

She was rescued from a salvage yard and named after the classic car - fitting for her energetic and speedy nature. She is 19 weeks old and always on the move, exploring her surroundings. She loves to play with all kinds of toys, especially the laser toy.

Once Shelby has burned off all her energy, she loves to snuggle up, make biscuits on blankets while being petting! She also loves climbing and taking naps in the cat tower and gets along wonderfully with other cats. Shelby is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate.

She is spayed, microchipped FeLv/Fiv- negative/negative, vaccinated, been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.

📣$5 Friday is here 📣

This week has been full of challenges, triumphs, and happy endings, but we couldn’t do it without your support! Your donations make all the difference in helping us continue this life-saving work.

Here are some highlights of the amazing work we've accomplished together:

🐾 Medina/Cat Central: Our team responded to an urgent plea from a community member who heard a tiny kitten crying outside her home. That little guy, now named Archie, had a bot fly (cuterebra) burrowed into his ear pinnae! We removed it and treated his wound. Archie is now resting safely in a medical foster home where he’ll receive ongoing care. ‼️Graphic photos at the end of the post‼️

🐾 Rural Niagara County: One of our experienced volunteers managed to hand-grab three kittens to get them to safety as part of an ongoing TNVR project.

🐾 Medina: Walker, originally a TNVR kitty from a large colony on Route 104, was found in rough shape—snaggle tooth, runny nose, and a coat turning golden brown in patches. After his clinic visit, we learned he needed full dental extraction due to a terrible mouth infection. Walker turned out to be incredibly friendly! His caregiver surrendered him to us, and after a lot of care from a wonderful foster, Walker is now feeling and looking amazing! His fur has grown back beautifully, and he’s the BEST boy—he even loves the vacuum!

🐾 Downtown Niagara Falls: We’ve begun a new TNVR project, working closely with a caregiver to spay/neuter all the cats she looks after. One of the cats we were able to get vetted this week includes Mama, a beautiful tuxedo who underwent an eye enucleation.

🐾 East Amherst: We partnered with a dedicated caregiver to TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return) two cats, Vila and Hobnail. After being vetted, these two are now back home, where they'll be well-fed and looked after.

🐾 Update from our June 19th post: Sabrina (formerly Sq**rt), Sal and Sasha all underwent eye enucleations, are doing great and on the road to recovery. Spencer (formerly unnamed black kitten) and Simon are both looking and feeling much healthier from their treatments

🐾 One of our foster-to-adopt kittens, Sheldon (formerly Fred), had an encounter with a bat after the poor bat found their way into the adopter’s home. After speaking with the Erie County Health Department and having the best tested for rabies. We got great news - the bat was negative for rabies and he could be reunited with his brothers Walter & Chandler

Meet Baxter and Bishop, a bonded pair of 15-week-old kittens ready for their forever home together. These boys were rescued from North Tonawanda, they have overcome a tough start and are now thriving.

Baxter is an adventurous tabby who loves running, playing, and exploring. His energetic spirit is contagious, and he has a fun-loving personality.

Bishop is an active black kitten who may be shy at first but melts into purrs once in your arms. He thrives on playtime and the companionship of his brother.

These sweet and playful kittens are inseparable and must be adopted together.

Their adoption fee is $225 for the pair until 8/31! A generous supporter is sponsoring $50 of their fee and because of Sally's Birthday Adoption Palooza, all adoption fees are reduced through the end of the month!

🐾 Conduct meet & greets and complete adoption paperwork

You would primarily volunteer from your own home and occasionally in person in East Amherst.

For our Medina & Orleans county friends, the Friends of the Orleans County Animal Shelter, Inc. is putting on a rabies clinic THIS Saturday. Check out their post for all the details!

Keeping your pets, including indoor cats, safe and healthy. An indoor kitty could be exposed to rabies if they get outside or if infected wildlife (like a bat) enters your home.

SATURDAY AUGUST 10, 2024 ~ 9 am to 11:30 am.

There is NO EXCUSE not to vaccinate your pets.

Orleans County Health Department FREE Rabies Immunization Clinic for all Dogs, Cats, and Ferrets at the Orleans County Fairgrounds.

Bring Proof of prior vaccination to receive 3 year vaccine.
* 1-year certificates issued with no proof
* Ferrets receive a 1-year certificate only

Animals must be at least 3 months old

Pet owners are to stay in cars and each animal must be leashed or crated and accompanied by an adult who can control the animal. Orleans County residents only.
