🎓🐶 Our next Basic Obedience Classes are now open for sign-ups! In these classes we will cover basic commands including loose leash walking, down, heel, come, and place. We train your dogs in environments that are relevant to you and your family.

If you want to take your dog to the Carolcade every year then that’s where we will train. 🎵
If you want your dogs meet Santa then i’ll put my whole family in Santa suits and that is how we will train. 🎅
If you simply and peacefully want to walk your dogs down Main St, then that’s where we will train! 🐕

The holiday season is upon us!! 🎄 As we get excited for the festivities, sometimes it can bring out the anxious behaviour in our dogs with new people visiting the home and the amazon delivery truck arriving at all hours of every day (my family swears it’s once a week but packages arrive on our doorstep daily 😂)

This can create a stressful home for everyone….barking, jumping, trying to run out of the house, chewing things and sometimes fearful behavior towards your guests.

It’s also back to school time lots of dogs! 🐾

This is always our busy time of year for dog training because pet parents have a little extra time to walk and enjoy their dogs and find that their dogs are still walking them!

Odin was unsuccessful in our working dog program and is now available for adoption with a rehoming fee. He is currently up-to-date on all vaccinations and has been neutered. Odin is a friendly dog who gets along well with other dogs and people. He needs to be adopted by an active family that can provide the necessary mental and physical stimulation for his breed.
Odin turns 1 on 7/23/24.

Summer is finally here and we are loving it! ☀️

We train all year around and in all weather conditions because your dogs deserve the best! We take special precautions in extreme weather and start our days early so that your dogs can work without feeling the full effects of the hot weather! We do regular temp checks and everyone (including us!) stop for water breaks throughout the day! 💦

Remember if you are out training/exercising your dogs in hot weather, shaded and grass areas are best and keep their paws off the hot sidewalks! Always feel the ground before your dog jumps out of the car for hot blacktop will burn their pads quickly! 🔥 Take lots of breaks with water and watch for signs of heatstroke! ⛑️

And as most of us know, NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOG IN A HOT CAR EVEN IF THE WINDOWS ARE CRACKED! 🌡️

We are a family owned and operated business. When you send your dog to us they become part of our family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Both of our daughters work along side us.🐾 This is our Activities Director/ Puppy Coordinator. JJ spends her time planning new activities with the dogs such as pool day and movie nights. Over the years she has read books to many of the dogs that have been with us. With us accepting all dogs big and small it’s an amazing experience for her to play with and learn about all the different breeds. 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺 Her favorite breed that she says she will own one day is a Dachshund. Lois is working on Lucinda’s focus on her. We like to see a dog check in or look at us rather than being worried about everything around them. Lucinda is a young dog and on day 3 of training. Young dog’s benefit from focus work which in turn helps with their impulse control. During their two weeks of training they spend a lot of time around other dogs and people. We believe it is more important to have the ability to walk by other dogs and people rather than the dog thinking it has to interact with everyone. About us

Veteran owned and operated, with a love of dogs and service to country. Rob started training and working detection dogs in the military. Rob served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years, deploying with a detection dog trained to detect Improvised Explosive Devices. After leaving the Marine Corps, Rob then went on to continue his passion for training and working with dogs in the private contract sector. There he trained both dogs and Handlers for the U.S. Marines and British Armed Forces. Rob spent about 3 years in Afghanistan working with the U.S and U.K. Rob has continued training specialized dogs for private security companies, Police (stateside and abroad), and also for non profit organizations.

Service to Country and a deep passion for training and working with dogs is at the backbone of R&R K9.
