Neeter's Pet Sitting takes time and dedication to love each pet as their needs are very important to me! I do dog boarding in my home and your pet is able to roam free in my home, I do not kennel unless the owner requests it. I am unable to do any overnight pet sitting at clients' homes, but I am able to go and let dogs out and check on pets. Please look at "services" to see more of what I offer.

I am a stay-at-home Mom of 2 boys. I really enjoy pets, and I used to work at a vet hospital (Funk Animal Hospital in Brooklyn Park, MN) back in 1994 and I was a vet tech assistant. My job was to clean the kennels, walk the dogs, assist with vaccinations, assist with medications, surgery, and give lots of love and care to the animals. Out of all of the jobs I had this is the one I loved the most. :) This is why I choose to do pet sitting. :)

I did a couple of visits for these 2 sweeties over the weekend.

Rosie boarded here for a couple of weeks. She enjoyed playing with Kahless, and also enjoyed cuddling and getting tons of attention.

Bella came to board with us for a while. She loved playing with our resident pups Kahless and Angel.

I did a visit for these 3. They were happy to get a treat. 🙂

I did some visits for these 2 last weekend during MEA. They love doing stare downs and then chasing each other. They sure make ne laugh a lot.

We have put lights out in the fenced-in area do we all can see when it is dark.

Even while on vacation, I still have to stop and give this kitty some attention. His name is Midnight and is the resident kitty at the motel that we are staying at.

I did some visits for Cooper and Mowgli this past weekend. They enjoyed being outside playing.

Here at Neeter’s Pet Sitting we are loving and compassionate of each and every animal. Each animal has their own care and needs. A little about the owner: Neeter’s Pet Sitting was founded back in May of 2017. The owner Anita used to work at a vet hospital (Funk Animal Hospital), she loved her job so much. She was sad when she had to leave, as she was moving and she had no way to make it to work. She started out with just cleaning cages and quickly moved up to helping the Vet Techs and this is where she got her title Vet Tech Assistant. She learned so much from working at the vet hospital, and wishes that she choose vet tech or something else to do with animals in collage instead of getting her certificate in Horticulture. Anita had gotten married and had 2 boys and waited until they got older and then she started thinking about pet sitting. She saw an ad about going to someone’s house to check on their dogs once a day and she though that this is something I could enjoy! She was hired to do the job and then someone sent her a message from the same place that she found the ad about someone needing someone to check on their dog asking if she would like to dog sit their dog. This is when she decided to give this pet sitting more of a try. When the dog had come she was happy and felt that she knew just what she needed to do, she needed to start her own pet sitting business and that is when she started to work on setting up Neeter’s pet Sitting. She has loved every minute of it since starting. About Neeter’s Pet Sitting: Here at Neeter’s Pet Sitting we are loving, caring and compassionate and very dedicated, First Aid/CPR trained, bonded and insured, and certified in pet sitting.

Every animal has it’s own care and needs. Anita is the main person that works with the pets. Her husband and Boys help out when needed. Each pet parent fills out paper work letting me know what their pets needs are, as this way there is no confusion. Neeter’s pet Sitting has not had an issue with a dog or cat not getting their needs met because of doing this.

Dog Boarding:

Each dog has their own needs and we take that very seriously!

Dog sitting is done in my home. We have 5 acres of land that they can explore and go potty in a natural environment. Dogs are taken out to what their needs are.

Each day dogs are taking out for walks, as they need exercise. We have a large fenced in area for dogs to go out and play, exercise and for myself to throw a ball for them to catch and other toys as well.

Dogs are fed to what their needs are, some need more feedings than others. Neeter’s Pet Sitting will feed dogs separate if needed. Each dog has their own food sent and we put their names and the amount that they are to be fed on their container or bag.

We give dog a daily treat and sometimes more. Pet Parents are welcome to bring their own treats for their dogs, and their names will be put on them. Your treats are only given to your dog(s).

Cat Boarding:

Cat boarding is done in my home. Cats are able to roam the home freely, and we do not kennel. Cats are allowed on the couch, chair, and beds. They also can lay on the dog beds, and or kitty beds. Owners are welcomed to bring their own beds as well.

Cats get daily treats, we have kitty treats here or the owner is welcome to bring them own.

Kitties stay in the house, I do not allow kitties to go outside due to the fact that they do not live here and I would not want them to run away.

We play with kitties everyday. We believe that kitties need exercise and they also like to be challenged so that they do not get board. We have scratch pads around for kitties as well. We also give kitties a lot of attention by petting, and cuddling if that is their need, or if they just like to play and not be touched or if they just like to be left alone and let us know when they want attention.

Cats are fed by their needs, some need to be fed wet food, some need only dry food, and some need combination.

Drop in visits:

I come to the dogs, cats, birds, and small critters home to check on them and full fill their needs.

I have paper work filled out to ensure that I make sure that I have everything down right for your pet so that they can get the best possible care.

Dogs can be let out to go potty, and cat boxes can be cleaned.

Feeding can be done to the needs of each pet

If you do a drop-in and walk together you will get a $5 discount.

Dog walking:

I come to the dogs home and take them for a walk and they can be done in 30 or 60 minute walks.

If you do a drop-in and walk together you get a $5 discount. :)

We have 1 dog and 1 cat. Our dog is a lab and our cat and a calico. There are pictures of them below.
