NBAR is a volunteer organization caring for pets in need through rescue efforts and a pet food bank. All of this is made possible by public donations.

New Beginnings Animal Rescue (NBAR) in conjuction with its adoption/ surrender program operates a Community Pet Food Bank. The food bank assists residents of Middlesex County NJ with food and supplies for their dogs / cats and rabbits.

🎉 Class Clown – Kai, always keeping us laughing (and a little confused).
👀 Best Eyes – Kaycee, hypnotizing hearts with just one glance.
🐾 Cutest Bonded Pair – Nova & Phoenix, double the love, double the trouble.
🍎 Teacher’s Pet – Holden, always found curled up at the front of the class (aka our laps).
😁 Best Smile – Tigger, winning hearts with every toothy grin.

These kitties are not just adorable—they're full of personality and ready to steal the show (and maybe your couch 😽).

It’s not just naps and snacks around here—our cats are thriving in their school clubs!

🎤 Purrformance Club: These drama queens and kings are pawsitively born for the stage. From Shakespeare to “The Sound of Meowsic,” they’ve got the range!

🎻 The Meowsicians: Whether it's jazz paw ensembles or solo purr-cussion, this group really knows how to strike a chord. 🐾🎼

🏃‍♂️ Catletics: Zoomies, high jumps, and synchronized tail flicks—our athletes are always on the move! Gold medals in chaos guaranteed. 🥇🐈

💫 Talent, energy, and just the right amount of mischief—who knew cat school would be this purr-ductive?

🐾✨ It's Ginger Cat Appreciation Day and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by introducing one of our newest NBAR arrivals — Kash! 🧡

This stunning boy is not only rocking that gorgeous ginger coat, but he’s also got the most mesmerizing eyes — one blue and one green! 😻 Talk about a showstopper.

But Kash isn’t flying solo — he comes as a perfect pair with his best buddy Sully. These two are bonded, which means they’re looking for a forever home together. Double the love, double the purrs, double the kitty magic. 🧡🧡

🐾 Alumni Update: Ben & Jerry 🐾

Remember Ben and Jerry? These handsome boys are now living their best lives as Maverick and Murphy!

Their days are filled with sunshine naps, birdwatching from their favorite perch, and—of course—endless snuggles and head scratchies. 😻

They’ve truly landed in the lap of luxury, and their new family couldn’t be happier to have them.

We love seeing our alumni thriving in their forever homes! 💛

While the kids are heading back to school with backpacks full of supplies, our shelter cats are getting ready for their own kind of "school year"—learning how to trust, play, love, and find their forever homes! 💖

But just like students, they need the right supplies to thrive!

✨ Cat toys, including wand toys (for "recess")
✨ Wet & dry food (for "lunch period")

After doing an amazing job raising her kittens (all of whom have found loving homes), it’s finally Alice’s time to shine—and be the center of someone’s world. 💕

Meatball & Sharpie have been adopted! 🐾💕

We’re over the moon to share that our sweet duo, Meatball and Sharpie, have found their forever homes! After all their time waiting, they’ve officially begun the next chapter of their lives — full of love, snuggles, and cozy naps.

Wishing these two the best life ahead — we already miss their goofy personalities and big hearts, but we couldn't be happier for them. 🐱🐱
