🎉🐾 Our Cats’ New Year’s Resolutions 🐾🎉
This New Year’s Eve, our cats sat down (okay… flopped down) to set their goals for the year ahead.
Resolutions include:
✨ More naps in sunbeams
✨ Fewer unwanted photos
✨ Extra treats (non-negotiable)
✨ Finding their forever homes 🏡
They’re starting 2026 with big dreams, tiny attention spans, and a lot of attitude.
Which resolution do you relate to most? 😹🎊

Meet Me Monday: SpongeBob 💛

SpongeBob’s story breaks our hearts — and we’re hoping you can help change his ending.

SpongeBob was adopted from us as a tiny baby kitten, full of promise and excitement. Sadly, he was returned in January 2025 through no fault of his own. Since then, he’s been waiting… and waiting. As he approaches one full year in our care, SpongeBob has had little interest from adopters.

SpongeBob is often overlooked because the shelter environment just isn’t his favorite — but don’t let that fool you. This boy is sweet, affectionate, and a total lap cat once he feels safe. In a home, SpongeBob is going to thrive and become your very best friend.

He would do best:
🐾 As the only cat, or
🐾 With his buddy Chubby, who he’s formed a true bromance with during his time with us

SpongeBob deserves a home, not another milestone behind shelter walls. Let’s not allow him to join the 365 Club. He’s ready for love, stability, and a couch to call his own.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, SpongeBob is waiting. 💛

🐾 Meet Nicky Noodle & Jamie! 🐾

This purrfect bonded pair has officially joined our adoption room and they’re ready to steal some hearts 💕

Nicky Noodle and Jamie love doing everything together—from playful antics to curling up for cozy naps. They’re also big fans of their humans! Nicky Noodle is incredibly affectionate and always ready to share the love, while Jamie may be a little shy at first… but once she warms up, she’ll reward you with happy purrs and some very appreciated butt rubs 😻

These two are hoping to start 2026 in a forever home together. If you’re looking for double the love, fun, and snuggles, Nicky Noodle and Jamie might be your perfect match 🏡✨

Interested in meeting them? Come visit our adoption room!

🎄😺 Holiday Safety Alert for Cat Parents! 😺🎄

The holidays are full of sparkle and cheer—but some festive plants can be dangerous for our feline friends.

Here are a few common holiday plants to keep out of paw’s reach:

🚫 Poinsettias – Mildly toxic. Can cause drooling, vomiting, or irritation if chewed.
🚫 Mistletoe – Can cause vomiting and, in severe cases, heart or neurological issues.
🚫 Holly – The berries and leaves can cause stomach upset and discomfort.
🚫 Christmas Trees (real & fake) – Not toxic, but needles can irritate tummies, and tree water can contain harmful bacteria or fertilizers.
🚫 Lilies – VERY toxic. Even a tiny amount (or pollen!) can cause kidney failure in cats. Avoid all lilies in the home.

🌿✨ Safer Alternatives:

Cat-safe plants like cat grass, rosemary, or Christmas cactus can give your home a festive touch without the risk!

Let’s keep this season merry, bright, and safe for our cats. Share to help other pet parents! ❤️🐾
