It’s veterinary technician appreciation week!
A veterinary technician is a member of the clinic team that helps the doctor keep on track with taking appointments, making sure they get all the information they need from a patient, and providing the necessary care the patient may need. As technicians they are able to take x-rays, assist in surgery, dental, take blood, run lab work, and groom animals. Being a technician isn’t an easy job! You never know what the day may bring but these technicians don’t let anything knock them down! They power through the hardest of situations with a smile on their faces. Many of our technicians are still in school to further their education and many have already gotten their degrees. Jackie is one of our certified veterinary technicians(CVT). This week of October 13th-19th is to show how much we appreciate veterinary technicians and how much they do for us and our fluffy companions.
