We aim to provide safe, cost effective, and efficient ways to get your pets medications to you. While we will continue to authorize prescriptions through third parties. Please review our prescription policy below:

Our private online pharmacy requests take precedence to any third party requests. Requests for same-day, walk-in refills may not be honored. You must give the staff 24-48 hours to prepare the prescription. Any request made after 4 pm will be considered a next-day request.

They are responsible for everything from getting a history in your pet, to comforting them, performing blood draws, X-rays, anesthesia and everything in between. Have you had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rachel Madenjian, DVM?!

She will be working with us as a relief veterinarian, both seeing appointments and performing surgery and dentistry.

She earned her BS in biomedical engineering from University of Virginia and her DVM and MS in comparative biomedical sciences from Tufts Cu***ng School of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include shelter work and dermatology. In addition to small animal medicine, she loves the ocean and all things aquatic! In her free time she enjoys cooking, yoga, jogging, and most of all catching rays at the beach!

We are excited to announce that we will be offering sedated cat grooming.

If a cat is already matted, the best and most humane option is to shave the cat into a lion cut, then get the cat on a regular grooming schedule to prevent matting. Regular lion cuts can also be a good way to prevent a cat from becoming matted. Typically, the hair will grow back in 3-6 months.

When Dr. Sacks comes to help out in the office, she brings her top assistants!

Dr. Heather Sacks, CVA, CVFT, CCRP, DVM.
Dr. Sacks is the Chief of staff at Hingham Animal Clinic. She earned her DVM degree at Cornell University, where she also sits on the medical board. Following vet school, she earned her masters in Chinese herbology. Dr. Sacks’ main interests are acupuncture and herbal medicine, dentistry, ultrasound, chemotherapy and general practice.

Dr. Sacks will be here throughout the next couple months, filling in on appointments, as well as surgery.

NEVER FORGET September 11, 2001. 🐕‍🦺❤️

Did you know? Nearly 300 search and rescue dogs played a critical role during the 9/11 attacks, some even zip-lining into dangerous areas to search through the rubble. These brave dogs located survivors and comforted first responders in the aftermath, showing the unbreakable bond between humans and animals. 🐾

As we honor the memory of all the lives lost on that day, we also pay tribute to the 9/11 hero dogs and their handlers, who gave their all in service to others.

Let’s take a moment to thank all working dogs for their bravery and sacrifice.
